Powell Renovations went out of their way to help us with our project. This was true even with situations that were very difficult and we are very satisfied with the results
While Powell Homes started four generations ago in 1909, it began for us 30 years ago in the woods behind our family home. With scraps of lumber our dad brought home from jobsites we built our dream forts; elaborate forts thirty feet high in trees with rope swings, forts with basements, and even one with a hollow log for an entrance. That early love of fort building soon translated to working on the job for our father swinging hammers and learning the home building business from the ground up. While we were driving to job sites dad explained what it took to create a home, not just a house. He talked about the time and energy needed to take a raw piece of land and create a lot where a home could be built for a new homeowner. He taught us that a person's home is their number one asset, and if we could help a few people each year buy a new home, then those people would reap the rewards that come with investing in a home and their community. Bringing Value to Everything We Touch
We learned what it takes to build a great home and what it takes to make Powell Homes a great place to work. It takes a daily dedication to bring value to each and every thing we touch. It takes treating every person we see each day as we would want to be treated. The personal experience we have gained from building over 350 homes since we began working for the company we pass on to our customers. We do this through consistent quality, affordability, and designs that meet our customers' desires. We have been building homes in greater Seattle neighborhoods since we were kids and we will be here for the next generation - continuing to build homes. Because we love what we do every day, it's not work, and besides, our kids need building scraps for their forts too.

Powell Renovations went out of their way to help us with our project. This was true even with situations that were very difficult and we are very satisfied with the results
They are well organized and detail oriented.
Being this is the first remodel we have ever gone thru the Powell's have been extremely easy to work with. The first part was on us to pick our materials. All were scheduled appointments at companies recommended by them.(But they don't have to be) Once our products were picked, we got our start date. Our project manager put a calendar in our house that stated what should happen and when. When we have had questions, concerns or changes that we want to talk about, we would simply tell our manager and/or give Todd a call and they are done. Todd, Julie and Justin are super great to work with. Julie even came to the house and helped us pick out our hardware and gave some really great advice on pendent lighting that we couldn't make decisions on. So far, an amazing and professional experience. We are really excited to have our kitchen finished and are considering Powell Renovations for a couple more projects that we have. Thanks Powell Renovations!

Homebuilders, remodelers, real estate developers and home services companies pay GuildQuality for customer surveying and performance reporting. We refer to these companies as GuildQuality Members, Guildmembers, or members.
Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.
All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).
All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.
In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.
A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.
Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
It is important to note that GuildQuality does not endorse the qualifications of any company. We make no predictions, warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, about the quality of any work a company on this website may provide. GuildQuality does not accept any liability whatsoever for any harm that might result from any statements presented on this website.
Prospective customers should weigh a multitude of factors when choosing the right building company, and never depend on a single source when making their decision to purchase a home or hire a contractor.
