Professional & Organized - Once our project manager, Matt, left Cleary, things got less organized and less carefully coordinated. We missed Matt's attention to detail, communication, and quality oversight. Tyler and Aaron tried to cover but Matt set the bar very high.

Schedule - For the main work, yes, but the last few items took a very long time to close out as the project seemed to lose momentum. This overlapped with when Matt left as in the previous item.

One thing that stands out is what good and responsive listeners everyone at Cleary were. Whenever we had a concern or an idea, they responded promptly and respectfully. Clearly also presented some amazing ideas for our home that we had never thought of. For our project, we did not add space, but simply reworked the space that we have. They presented several designs for how to do this, and it was difficult to choose, because they were all great. And most were all ideas that we had not considered. The Cleary Company is quite amazing in the work that they do.

Luis's carpentry skills are superior. Juan's team are diligent workers and did a great job in the cold December weather. Lou Volpe and his team were great. The hot water faucets produce hot water, and the cold water faucets produce cold water. We have friends who experienced the reverse in other homes with other companies! =) The Cleary team is polite and professional. Grateful for a well done project.

I thought they were easy people to get along with. There was some surprises with the demolitions that had to chage the plans. They proposed some reasobable solutions.

The actual work was done great, but the design and contract process were horrible. We were brought in with one price and then it more than doubled. We did not feel understood during the design and contract process.

I did my research for some time before committing to the contract. I spoke with several past clients in various stages of their own reno and felt they were a great choice. I have completed a project with Dave Fox in a previous home and this experience from The Cleary Company was much better overall. I felt everyone so engaged in my project while I know it is a small one compared to others! I have shared your contact info already with 5 people in my neighborhood who all stop and share great comments around the outcome.

Cleary does beautiful work, and makes living through a renovation as pleasant and safe as possible! Every person who came into our home over the months of our project was respectful, friendly, helpful, and skilled. Rob was a pragmatic, thoughtful problem-solver who seemed most comfortable trouble-shooting. We remain uncertain about the bathroom wallpaper, but trust that Cleary will appreciate our concern and stay in touch about it.

Effective, timely communication by the replacement project manager was challenging at times, and wrapping the project up suffered. We are delighted by the space now and love the value added to our home.

The sunroom they built for us is gorgeous and everything I hoped for. I am very happy with the workmanship. Communication once the project started was not good.
