He was professional and had so much knowledge about what I wanted to get done. They worked diligently with me and my husband when we ran into some problems because it's an older home. The people at the head office in Orlando were very polite and very forthcoming. The local office, they opened shortly after hurricane Ian, needs a lot of work. They are trying to do too much too fast and have not established the office properly. I have a degree and background in business administration for 40-years. They were trying to expand too fast with the damage from hurricane Ian. They have work crews that should not be installing roofs.

They were honest, and if there were any delays they would let me know. They provided good communication and did a good job. I shopped around and had five or six other companies, but I chose Universal. They were professional from the beginning to the end.

From beginning to end, Universal Roof & Contracting did a marvelous job. Interestingly, they offered a wind mitigation evaluation. We had an outside person complete it because we wanted to get it done through our insurance. An outsider completed the inspection per USAA's recommendation, and he stated Universal Roof & Contracting did a great job. We were very pleased with the company, from the salesperson on. They kept us apprised of everything and were very, very good.

I am disappointed that they only did the roof. The name of the company is Universal Roof and Construction. I anticipated that the construction part of the name meant that they would also be able to do gutters, soffit, and fascia. They don't do any of that. That was a disappointment for me.
