I posted the following, along with your logo, in Mira Mesa Neighbors, a Facebook group with 12.3K neighbors. It's the place I go for recommendations. "Because a roof is a significant expense, and because I'm a nerd, evaluating proposals and asking the right questions took a lot of research. We wanted a roof that is energy efficient, has good quality materials, has quality workmanship, and has a good warranty. Of the three companies that were recommended to us, we chose Roofing Specialists of San Diego.
Everything was explained upfront by Mark Dice, and the crew was very professional. It was done during that heat wave we had. They made sure to protect so much before they removed the shingles. I don't know if this is common (I hadn't seen it before). They even put 2 large boards to cover our garage door to protect it from any potential damage.
They provided photos of the progress. We were told that roofing companies provide a drawing of all the measurements of the roof to the vent company that all 3 companies use. Then the vent company provides a drawing of the roof with the exact number and placement for each vent. Although I asked each company for the drawing, only Roofing Specialists provided it. BTW, they are in Mira Mesa.

The team arrived on time and conducted their efficiently and professionally. The team did a great job with the install and many neighbors mentioned that the work was very professional.

What I appreciated was their attention to detail. As part of the prep, they covered much of my yard and pool with plastic to catch all the debris from the demo. When I had to enter my home during demo day, there were nails and screws all over the place as expected. By the end of day one, I found 5 nails from my front and back yards combined. By the last day, there was not one piece of debris anywhere.

Give a better up-front idea on how much wood might be replaced and the expected cost, or at least give a typical cost range. I was surprised by how much of the fascia boards needed to be replaced. It would have been nice to have had a better idea ahead of time.

Roofing Specialists did a great job. They are not the cheapest.
