I would advise caution in utilizing Woodstock Kitchen and Bath. We had a budget in place, and given the age of our home we did encounter a couple of unexpected issues. That aside, the renovation expenses exceeded the total cost of the house itself. This is for one 15 x 9 full bath, and not resituating any plumbing.
WKB offers nice products and their design skills are very helpful for someone like me who is not knowledgeable in this area. Others that I know may not need or want this level of service.
The planner didn't complete the project.
We love our remodeled Bathrooms. Their designers were key to choosing the right color scheme and craftsmanship in all products used.
The sales people in Essex are well informed, friendly and helpful. The final stage of the project was disappointing.
It is really too soon to say because we just signed the contract. Once the work is completed, sometime in 2025, I will be much better able to assess. But so far, we have been very impressed by everyone we have met at Woodstock Kitchens & Baths.
The overall design of the project and materials are excellent. A few of the products we selected are less than ideal and, given that we have zero expertise in this area, more guidance would have been a good thing. The seat in the shower is quite narrow and slippery as an ice rink. It is dangerous to sit on it. I'm looking for a clear bathmat I can cut to size. The hand-held shower does not pivot (I guess I never dreamed this could be the case), and when it's in its holder shoots water one way and only one way. I wish this had been pointed out to us. These may be little things but since they are an issue any time anyone takes a shower, it's hard to forget.
Everything was wonderful except the price- much higher than we expected
We've had an excellent experience with WKB. We needed help with planning the renovations of multiple rooms. Chris helped us solve some design issues along with narrowing down selection of materials. Chris also recommended a contractor.
