Bauer Estates LLC builds the Wausau Homes in Spring Valley and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone due to all the issues we are/have had with them.

That said, it’s important to acknowledge that successful projects depend on mutual communication, collaboration, and respect throughout the process. In this case, you dropped the ball on paying us at the successful completion of your project. While we regret the outcome, we believe we acted in good faith to address concerns and deliver a quality home. When you didn’t return that good faith, we had no choice but to hold you accountable and put a lien on your house until you paid us for the completion of the project.
PSA to other contractors, have a good contract and know your lien rights when you have a homeowner try to bully you or take advantage of the situation and not pay you after moving in. Had we not had this, we would have been out 35K.

We had difficulty with a stair order on this build and we had an issue where we did not have all the parts ordered with a new person on the job. We corrected this and got the parts on order and installed. This homeowner then wanted us to just eat the cost, which was a good amount of material that they did not pay for originally that we needed to buy for the custom wood white oak stair treads. This angered the homeowner that just wanted to take advantage of the situation and to get free materials. We did not cave to this demand and decided that we had corrected this with a good final product and we did not feel we should have to pay the homeowner to put their stairs in for a order miss. This also did not delay the final end date of the project.
