Trevor was the answer to a porch that needed a major makeover. We spoke with a number of homeowners in our neighbourhood for whom he had done similar projects and the response was consistently "he's not the cheapest but he's worth it". Now that our porch renovation is completed I would say that, in my extensive experience of hiring contractors/trades for a number of projects, I have never seen a tradesperson as perfectionistic as Trevor is. I am a perfectionist myself and I couldn't find fault with even the smallest detail of his work. The knowledge he displayed in his design of the framework was impressive. He and his assistant were respectful of our space and neat and tidy with tools, materials and garbage. Trevor identified additional work required beyond that for which he quoted and that work was done at no additional charge. The work was started and completed on schedule. When the project was done we were totally happy with the results. I agree with the references I was given- Trevor's quote may not be the lowest you will get but, based on our experience with him, we feel we received excellent value for the work done. We highly recommend Upper Canada Carpentry. We love our new porch. Thanks Trevor.
