Price seemed reasonable. No obvious defect in the quality of work so far.

Planning and communication could have been better - both with me and between front office and crew. Some examples: crew started installing wrong color shingle, which we caught after a few hours, but wasted a day. Powerwashing the fascia AFTER the new roof had been installed revealed more wood damage that then required pulling up some of the shingle to repair. Crew that came to repair the additional damage didn't know the PM expected him to also repaint, so he didn't have the right tools with him. But, in the end, everything was done with only a few days delay, and the charge for replacing the additional wood was reasonable.

My original primary goal was to get fire-safe eave vents installed, and this ended up not happening. They bought the wrong kind of vent, tried to cut them to make them fit but couldn't, and then told me that only the cheap Home Depot ones would fit. I ended up cancelling that part of the contract and ordered and installed the correct Vulcan fire-safe vents myself.

One final gripe: after the job I found several roofing nails or other discarded material scattered in the yard. Hasn't been a crazy amount, but at the same time I feel like they could easily have cleaned up what I found if they'd made the effort.

Everyone from the beginning (estimate from Mike) of this process, during the roof installation (Romeo and the crew), and to the final cleanup were all very professional and courteous.

This is the second time we have used TR construction for a new roof and we added a new front porch entry roof.

TR Construction worked with us every step of the project. Everyone showed up on time and all employees were courteous and knowledgeable. They made sure all cleanup was done after each phase of the project. The price was fair and competitive.

Work (initial consult, roof itself, clean up crew) was done quickly and professionally and they were very responsive.

Mike Sr., Mike Jr., Theresa, Sal and the rest of the team were great communicators and delivered great work.

THEY DID A VERY PROFESSONAL JOB

My first impression with Mike Hernandez by him coming out to the house, taking measurements, and answering all my questions and concerns without the "sell" context was what sold me. Contacted two other "roofing" companies one who responded with a picture of my roof and an estimate (rather than getting off their backside) and another never responded. The front office were very nice and supportive and the work crews were friendly and professional. Old school trade perspective that take pride in their work. Completed the project ahead of schedule.

I was totally impressed by the production, the way they finished up, cleaned-up, and everything else. I was totally happy with the group.

I had TR construction replace my slate tile roof to a completely new shingle roof. I had Rudy & Romeo along with their crew working away. They did great work. Angel the clean up guy did a good job as well. I would like to give kudos to Teresa - All my questions & concerns we’re addressed & communicated to the right people & it gets done. Mike was nice to check on things when an issue arises & I appreciate that! I would use them again & highly recommend this company! As a homeowner that is very much involved with this huge project ,I cannot stress the importance of your involvement making sure the channel of communication is right there so both parties are on the same page.

Mike from TR was knowledgeable and very easy to deal with. He’s was flexible with the initial quote, I was out of town unexpectedly and he was willing/able to conduct the initial site visit via FaceTime. Very impressed and very satisfied.

Everything went as scheduled. They worked with the HVAC crew well. Everybody was professional. I am very happy so far.

Definitely will recommend roofing installation through TR. Mike came and provided detailed information on installation process, timeline of completion, and later provided a clear and concise estimate of replacing our roofing. His team members who worked in our property were on time from Demo day to completing roof installation and property was kept clean. Big thanks to Sal and Luis for working to their best to get most job done especially during the heat wave. Sal communicated extra work needed and explained necessity of doing so. He also had taken extra work requested by us and completed during the time frame. Overall work, service, communication, dedication to their clients is great. Take time and explore roofing companies but definitely include TR in your search.

TR Construction was on time for my initial appointment and showed up daily on time. They removed all of my shingles and installed all new shingles in four days. Very happy with the finished product. Looks great. Good value too.
