I recommend them highly!
I would (and have) recommend TPC based on the excellent craftsmanship, communication and professionalism. However I would include the caveat that the cost seemed to be very high.
Very professional
Absolutely
Timberline Patio Covers LLC PCF is a construction company group that preforms with high standards five star workmanship. They have the ability to start and finish the complete project with the umbrella of connections they are accompanied with and communication with one another as a team. I highly recommend them to do any project that is challenging and high quality of standard. They will go above and beyond your expectations with renderings, all permits and making sure you are completely satisfied with their work.
Our experience working with Timberline Patio Covers was TOP-NOTCH from start to finish and we would 100% recommend them! We've been planning for this covered space for quite a long time and choosing the right builder was so very important. I know there are many people behind the scenes keeping things running, but I want to give a shout out to Mario, who managed our project. He's no-nonsense, easy to communicate with, and we had TOTAL confidence in him running our project.
When it comes down to the actual build and having crew on your property day after day, there's no one we would want other than Jack and Jeremiah! Both of them are friendly and respectful, incredibly hard workers, talented at what they do, and just a pleasure to work with. They were always here when they said they would be and were very gracious with me and all of my questions. :) The whole process was fascinating and I enjoyed knowing what they were doing and watching it come together- and they were so kind to share with me. If you choose Timberline for your project, I hope you're lucky enough to work with them!
Lastly, I want to mention Timberline's use of their on-line portal for communication. At first I thought it was going to be cumbersome, but it was brilliant. We've worked with OTHER contractors who either don't communicate or don't follow through and that makes it incredibly difficult to follow along with your project or even get responses on queries. With Timberline's portal, every question was answered, every day's accomplishments were noted, and the timeline was clear- and because of that, we never felt out-of-the-loop.
Thanks for building us this incredible new space, Timberline, and for doing it with class!
Quality of work was great, once started (awaiting permits), great progress, daily cleanup and pictures and updates were appreciated.
We couldn’t ask for more as we were able work with a great team.
Timberline Patio Covers, LLC is expensive, but the work is extremely high quality, so if you're willing to spend the money they are the place to go!
Yes, I am.
We had problems starting as soon as they initially set the footings for the pillars for the covered roof. They tried to reduce the original size and placement, then claimed we had agreed to those changes, although there was no documentation . Their original setting would have buried them so that the wood would be below grade, which would expose them to moisture and rot. We got it corrected but it should never have happened. After construction began, they came and said, "a lot of people want more lights, more outlets, etc." Why not just include that in the original design? We agreed, because those additions were a good idea, but the cost of the upsell was ridiculously high. The extremely "high end" under counter refrigerator is pretty, but the manufacture recommends unplugging, not just turning it off, at ambient temperatures below 40 degrees. If it's such a great "outdoor rated appliance", why does it need to be unplugged for most of the year? Except for the amazing talent of their lead carpenter, we regret ever doing business with Timberline!
'Yes', I would absolutely recommend Timberline Patio Covers to a friend. Their project mgmt application, BuilderTrend, made it super easy to track milestones complete vs. plan, and communicate with the team. The talent that was brought to bear on our project was pretty amazing... both outsourced (Rock Elec) and in-house (TPC). The assembled team had a wealth of experiences & best practices from prior jobsites to help create an outstanding product that our family will enjoy for years to come.
I thought it was great that Timberline coordinated the project for us and we’re pleased with the quality of workmanship, but I would support looking into other vendors due to communication issues.
Communication was great. We added many changes upgrading as the project evolved. Mario had great ideas, and helped us along the way.
Timberline is a very professional organization. They are open and upfront and if something goes wrong they work hard to fix it. The quality of their work is great and we will enjoy our new covered porch for many years to come.
Everyone there was friendly and professional to work with. There were no surprises, and the quality of the work was top notch.
Would highly recommend Timberline to others and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again on another project
We love the end product and are pleased with the quality. Once the work was scheduled, communication was excellent and the crews were great. They understood our goals, made good suggestions and the craftsmanship was excellent. Our only issue was getting from sales to the project starting. What we discussed with sales was not translated to the project and we had to do several change orders because of it. Our project did not require construction permits and we were told it would be scheduled within 90 days but it was actually 9 months.
They did excellent work, kept me informed, showed up on time, very responsive to questions. I would hire them again if a have a project.
Crew was always professional, and workmanship was top notch. What few issues arose during construction were taken care of quickly.
Entire Design/Build process was as wonderful experience as it can be ,despite challenges threw by Covid Years around Supply chain, labor schedule/shortages. Even the city's permit process shut down, But, Timberline worked with all parties to see the project completed. The build turned out as expected from quality standpoint, which is hard when lots of external x factors ( as mentioned above ) are involved.
We are extremely happy with our new deck! We had a very big project with special custom requests. Timberline Patio Covers delivered! We would 100% use this company again and we highly recommend them. They have a professional team, a centralized communication platform, and quality craftsmen. We had Mario as our lead on-site and his work is amazing. We appreciated his good communication and attention to detail. We get constant compliments about our deck and are excited to enjoy it for many years!
Good, but lots of room for improvement in planning, fit and finish, and price, but they got the job done eventually (1.5 years)
The workmanship was great the rest was a nightmare. It was almost 14 months from contract to completion and at signing the expectation that was set was 6-8 months. The work didn’t start for a year. We contracted in early April of 2021 with work completing end of May 2022. The first few months there was minimal work. Finally got a drawing and it was a mess with posts in the wrong place etc. I pressured them the rest of the summer for when permitting would be filed with only basic responses of being busy.
Finally started permitting in October after I directly called a project manager. Based on that call, I believe they had lost track of the project by his surprised when looking at the file.
Permitting completes in Jan and we meet. To my surprise they raised the project 30% for “contracted” project. They stated it was in their right that they can raise rates after 6 months due to delays outside their control. I pushed back that they didn’t even file for a permit within 6 months and that was totally in there control.
In the end I cut the project back to exclude the roof that I really wanted and just got a deck. It wasn’t worth the money for $150k for such a small covering. $100k was already 15% above other quotes at the original contract time.
