Our staff, who live and breathe the mountains, understands that incorporating mountain-specific designs, materials, and craftsmanship is integral to building a roof that withstands extreme high-altitude conditions and rapid climate changes. I have never worked with a less organized company in my life. From the moment I made initial contact with The Roofing Company until now has been a complete nightmare. We wrote the first check in July. It is now mid to late November and it is still not finished. It has cost us revenue in our business. The Roofing Company didn't check with the home owners association to make sure the materials were acceptable. They didn't check to make sure what we ordered was in stock before starting the job. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

I had the pleasure of working with one of TRC’s most experienced foremen (regrets I do not remember his name). He analyzed the problems we face at 10,000+ feet and made some small changes to the installation to alleviate any potential future problems. The installation crew (we called them the Lithuanians) was equally experienced, willing to perform some extra repairs and installations making the final result better than we expected. The knowledge, willingness to go the extra mile, and their friendly demeanor made this TRC team stand heads-and-shoulders above most other contractors I have employed. In fact, I submitted TRC to our subdivision’s “Recommended Contractors List”.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I would never expect any company employee to talk to any customer the way they talk to customers. For the highest price you expect the highest quality service and they do not deliver at any level. Do not, do not, do not hire this company.

The tear-off was done cleanly and he invited me to monitor the installation (I furnished my own OSHA harness and anchor) from the roof itself to answer my concerns about venting. I also think the flashing crew did a very professional job cutting and installing flashing.
