I was completely satisfied with all workers who completed my home remodel. Our home was flooded. I choose Scott Story to do the repair work. Scott and his crew were neat and excellent workers. The rip out crew, plumbers, painters, tile, granite, texture, cabinet maker, finishers, tile/granite, electricians, and the construction crew guys that put everything back exactly how I wanted it, did it so perfect. All workers were polite and very friendly. If I had any changes, I wanted, they did it The cleaning crew at the end did an excellent job.

Horrible experience, I wish I had never signed a contract with Story Construction. They came on strong but then they left me hanging for weeks with very little communication letting me know what was coming next. They never gave me any type of schedule so I was at their mercy. They did nothing to supervise their subcontractors and moved at a pace that suited their needs ignoring mine completely. They couldn't even manage to order the right size jamb for the replacement of the french door. I wouldn't use them to build a chicken coop if I needed one.

Amazing company to work with during a very difficult water loss...

After a fire swept through our home we chose Scott to do the rebuild. Scott is a 'Preferred Allstate Contractor' and initially that is the reason we chose him... And glad we did! He finished the rebuild on schedule, kept us in the loop at all times, and provided us with really good advice on all the many issues that came up.

All Scott Story seemed interested in was hurrying up and getting paid. When the work was not done properly the first time, he gave me a check to cover part of my deductible and to not say anything about it. When I tried to cash it, it bounced and cost me $12.00 in fees! When the workers came out a second time to correct the problem, he told me I'd have to sign a document beforehand saying I will recommend the work before it even got started! I felt very pressured and would not recommend him to anyone.

Scott and his crew went above and beyond with my Mom's house. I was really blessed when I got Story Design and Construction to rebuild my Mom's house!
