They are a terrible company. Nothing is explained and their workmanship is bad at best.
A job that was supposed to take 3 days took 3 months. We never received a quote prior to having the work performed. After asking several times, we were able to obtain a quote from our insurance company. After the insurance company issued payment, we had to reach out to Spangler several times because we had not heard from them. We received the quote after the floor was put down, and after reviewing the quote we realized Spangler had requested monies for things they never performed like detaching and resetting the toilet and sink, moving large furniture, detaching doors, etc. Spangler claimed they did not know how to professionally install LVP on stairs, so we are going to have to eat the cost and hire someone else to repair our stairs. Incorrect products were delivered to our home, we had a tough time getting a quality product delivered to us. The whole process was an inconvenience to my family. In the end we were able to come to an agreement, however I do not recommend this company if you expect high quality service.
They did a wonderful job. Sandra went above and beyond. Bobbie was a real professional. He had minimal disruptions and got the job done quickly. Everybody honestly did a wonderful job. There isn't a bad thing I could say about this company and what they did for me.
They are very unprofessional. They did not finish the work. I had to pay for work that was not done. They took about $1900.00 of material from my home that they did not pay for. I would have never used the company if I knew how they were.
Timely and professional response and assessment of needs. Personnel were available throughout the process of determining the course of action for this situation of major damage. Once demolition was decided upon, they offered comprehensive pricing as well as a satisfactory schedule, which was adhered to. Recommend Spangler services.
Overall a good company and good decision to work with Spangler.
Inexperienced workers caused unnecessary problems. But Kenny was responsive andapologetic and got the issues solved
We had used Spangler a few years back for a leak in our kitchen. The process was so amazing we requested to work with the company again. A mistake I will NEVER make again. This was a longer than necessary, unorganized, less than quality by a lot, experience for us. I would never recommend Spangler to anyone.
Spangler Restoration's customer service has been excellent and they are quick to answer calls.
I am very pleased with the work done by Spangler. Even with the needed extra time to finish the job, the process went very smoothly. I commend Jinette and Chad on their excellent customer relations. They were always communicating the status and prognosis of the repair schedule. Well done!
This is the first time I had to use a restoration company. The only reason I went with them is because of my bestfriend. I would not recommend them to anybody because they are horrible to their long time employees at the company. I hate when company's get rid of the employees that fire good people that put there all into the company.
I was most satisfied because Spangler Restoration did quality work.
Their selection of the flooring company was wonderful and the job went very smoothly in a timely manner. They packed and unpacked everything with care.
Spangler Restoration employees were fast and efficient with all of our remediation needs. I really like the team who they send for service. Great guys!!
They didn't do the work they quoted me for. They never started the job. Bryson Kirby told me to lie to my insurance company and tell them I didn't want them to do the job. They stated they wouldn't be making any money off the work, so they needed another $2000 to be able to make the money they needed. I found someone to do the work for me for the same price they quoted me. I had to do most of the work, and Lowe's came in and laid the floors for me.
They have been very helpful and easy to work with. Their treatment has always been effective.
The time it took from start to finish was too long.
We've had six different people ask because they have had similar situations. I have told them about our experience with Spangler.
Spangler took too long to do the job. They had three or four different project managers on the job and they couldn't keep anyone on the job.
I was a little disappointed in the quality of the work, especially since Soangler was recommended by our insurance company
Prompt attention on the day of "destruction", politeness of management, all were eager to meet the needs
The work they did was fine, the scheduling was the problem.
I was happy with the company. They did a good job.
Great company and very professional people in the company.
The direct employees of Spangler were polite and courteous (escept for the contents department). The sub-contractors they used were not trained or very experienced in the trades they performed. The painters had to come back at least 13 times in order to get things looking half way decent. One example of no training / experience was when the painters did not wipe sheet rock dust off the walls before they started painting which left a rough texture everywhere. The trim in our house has a glazed finish and the painter that was sent to try and match the glazing had never performed this technique and it showed! We finally gave up and accepted the poor workmanship. The trim carpenter actually installed a piece of ceiling trim that was broken and it was never replaced! The hardwood floors were finished so poorly that we were given a full refund and had our own contractor re-finish the floors. Spangler did pay for our 10 day hotel stay while the floors were being re-done for the second time. The contents department called me at least three times and were rude trying to get me to pay the bill that was not even due. When I pointed out that the terms were net 10 days and complained about the harrasment I was sent an apology. In the end the billing for the repairs and content removal was filled with errors and I was charged for numerous items that were not even performed. When I pointed out the errors I was finally credited after several emails and two face to face meetings.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Spangler Restoration as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
