I believe they ultimately did a very good installation job but scheduling the job was extremely difficult and the collection process was poor.
Nearly 2 years, $110k, lots of excuses, 3 project managers ,water trashing my house from an untreated roof leak, my job was never done properly. Still no warranty certificate as promised.
Hired them to put on a new roof 6 years ago. They were expensive, but work quality was good and they walk the talk with respect to fixing any issues that occur. Assume this would be the same with current project if any issues arise.
Would not choose this company again.
This job was a repair of wind damage that resulted in shingles from the ridge vent being blown off the house. Water entered the home. Southers was unable to apply a temporary cover to the damaged area. I had to do that work myself to prevent further interior damage. Further, they didn't communicate when they were going to start work. I called them at 4 weeks from the signed contract and was told they were "waiting for materials". Then two weeks later, to be told they would be out the next day. Poor communication.
On the morning of the repair, they were supposed to start work at 8am. When no one was on-site by 9:30, I called the project manager. He said, "they are holding off due to threatening rain". Actually, the crew went to my neighbor's home and started removing the ridge on their perfectly good roof. The crew only stopped when the police arrived following a call from the home owner. They then spent the next 3 hours repairing the damage they had done to my neighbor's property. All this with a detailed address (my neighbor isn't on the same road as my home) and photos of the house (my home is substantially different from my neighbor) Complete inattention to detail and information provided.
The work was completed by nightfall.
The next day I found the strapping that I had used to secure the temporary tarp cover had been left, as requested by my wife. However, upon examination, I found that the screws I had used to hold down the strapping and tarp were not backed out of the wood, rather, the crew pried them out causing more damage to my home. Poor workmanship.
I was able to have Mickey & Jeremy at our home on two separate occasions. We ended up opening a can of worms due to their experience and watchful eyes. What these two men were able to accomplish was certainly significant while here. They were not able to do all that they would have liked to do, which would have entailed a MUCH larger project, but they did provide a decent job in order for us to look ahead and begin to plan on this otherwise now significant work that will be necessary. Just in speaking with these two men I could tell that they cared about the end results and that they were REALLY knowledgeable! They shared some of their methods of construction that IF the builder would have completed these methods himself, we would NOT have the issues we now face. I like these guys.

I signed the contract on October 19th and didn't start on the roof until December 22nd.
Quality work, a little pricey though. Shop around I'd say, but for the work they did it was most excellent.
Southers Construction was super responsive when getting the quote and then the work was completed quickly after we decided to move forward with the roof replacement. We beat the snow!

I would not say anything negative about the company, but would find it difficult to recommend them very enthusiastically because of the CB communication issues.
They kept me informed about the schedule,showed up and finished the roof in a 1/2 day.

We had the roof on our addition replaced by Southers Construction recently and the entire process was very professional. Their representative Colin Flaherty met with us, looked at the job and explained what needed to be done and what if any additional costs might be such as replacing any rotted plywood on the roof decking. As it turned out none was needed however it was great to have that possible cost included in the contract. The crew and their foreman Zach were on time, easy to work with and professional from start to finish including cleanup. The new roof looks great and I highly recommend Southers Construction for your next home project.

After all was done I'm glad my work was completed but the process was harder than it should have been for the money I spent. I spent what I felt was a premium price for 5 sections of gutters. The company was hard to deal. The longest of the 5 sections is not very good looking. It works but I'm tired of fighting with the guys to get it done right. This is my first experience with this company.
