I was okay with Rytech Restoration as far as what they did. When the flood happened, they were here very quickly and were very professional. I appreciated that. However, we talked at the end about them having a contractor put everything back together after they pulled the fans and everything was dried out. I haven't heard from them. I found out from the insurance company that they sent the final invoice, so they were done. They had no intention of having someone finish the work. I have worked with other companies in the past, and they did what they needed to do, then asked if we wanted a contractor to come back out and put everything back together again. That was disappointing.
It's not so much the quality of workmanship. It was the person in charge. The workmanship and quality were excellent. AJ was very rude and disrespectful. He brought out the wrong flooring and wanted to argue with me.
They were accurate and timely; however, there were some forms of miscommunication between myself, Rytech Restoration of Lake County, and the insurance company that were not fairly communicated when the mitigation was in progress.
Initially, it seemed like the right thing to do. They rushed the job. They damaged my floor. They were late for meetings. Georgie made it right.
We had them do some restoration work, and they just took some hardwood floors out of our home that they were not supposed to. That was not a great experience.
Rafael snd the whole crew were clearly well trained to do what they needed to do; they were all courteous, efficient respectful and patient w/my questions.
Alyssa is so great customer services. And the technician explained the work so well and helpful.
They were very friendly and accommodating with good coverage.
AJ and his team did a great job of mitigating water damage to our finished basement. They also did a fabulous job of rebuilding, painting and carpet laying. All were very professional and I would use them again if needed.
