With our additional offices in DFW, we can now serve all of North Central Texas. Fully licensed and insured - Roofs by Nicholas conforms with all Texas state requirements for roofing contractors. We carry more than Texas state requirements in liability and worker's compensation insurance. Always ask to see a contractor's insurance certificates to protect you and your roofing project.
We'll be around to service our warranties! - Unfortunately many roofers are fly-by-night, a guy in a truck types. We've been around for nearly 30 years, are professionals and will be here to service the warranty we gave you. This is the most professional company I've dealt with, and they are knowledgeable. The salesperson, Steven Slaughter, in every way went above and beyond to help with this job. Obviously they had to deal with my insurance company, which was not always easy, and I couldn't recommend them enough. They were excellent, and I will never use another roofing company.

It took 3 weeks to finish our roof "after" they started. I was told that they ran out of material two different times. My house is your standard home with approximately 2,000 square feet including the garage, so figuring the "correct" amount of material should not have been that difficult. Running out of material once was bad enough, but they claimed they ran out twice. There was 5 of my neighbors that had signed up with Roofs by Nicholas to have them replace their roof, but they decided to have a different contractor do their roofs after seeing how long it took for Roofs by Nicholas to do mine. I have been told that the quality of the installed roof was good, but I think their ability to estimate the amount of material and their communication to me was very poor. I would have serious reservations of recommending them to anyone.
