please read below comments. From the roof leak our ceiling was damaged and discussed with the repair rep but not repaired or any follow up dates for a repair to happen. As this area was redone we are scraping out the damage, repatching and repriming and painting ourselves, I expected better work from Red Dogs

Red Dog Roofing is the absolute BEST! We have used them three times between our own house and our rentals.

I'm not happy with the way the shingles have been laid on the roof. They blame it on them not laying flat on the ridges. As they go up the roof, they have little half moon slots where they are not laying flat.

The price was very competitive! The salesman did a very good job of answering a lot of our questions After we signed the contract the communication could have been better as far as getting back to us on a start date ! We were told they would keep us updated once a week but We had to call to get updates They did get started on the date they gave us The crew got alot accomplished on the first day The next day they were late getting started because of being in an automobile accident but then only worked about 3hours that day Day 3 they didn’t show up,till about noon The foreman for the job did have an issue getting the crew here and when they did finally show they worked until dark The crew could have done a better job of keeping the job site cleaner from the roofing materials The job supervisor did address it and had them clean it better

I thought the plywood used was poor quality.

They set an install date and did not start until a month after the said time. They tried to replace my two attic vents (47”x19”) with one 12”x12”. Terrible idea. They punched 60% of the nails through the drip edge through the securing piece of wood on my facia board. Left with exposed nail points. Their fix was to cut the nails and touch up the paint. In the most of all of this. Customer service is heavily neglected. Seems I spoke with someone different each time I called. No one relaying messages to the other. They don’t get credit for the quality of shingles. Owens does. Workmanship review is what this is alongside company profile. They are quick to make the sale. Slow to perform to standards. Really quick to contact for the final payment.

Pleased with the final outcome. Only caveat is tear off could have been managed better.

The estimator, Gabriel, was punctual and very efficient. On the day of the work starting, the crew was here early and stayed busy. The only time they even took a break is when they had to wait on the county inspector to come and do the inspection. Even then they used the time to clean equipment, run the roller magnet through the yard to pick up nails. The finished job looks great. I have already shared their business card with two of my friends who are in need of reroofing.

I think they were fast, courteous, and did high quality work.

Gabe was great in taking his time and explaining to me every detail of the project as I am a new home owner and didn’t know anything about roofs. He also checked in regularly to make sure work was on schedule and being done efficiently. Brian was in contact contact with me as well to make sure the project was going according to plan. Communication and follow up was great! Overall, an excellent experience and I would absolutely use them again or refer a friend.
