I thought Porter did a great job. This was my first experience with storm damage and my first home insurance claim. Everyone I met from Porter was courteous, patient and knowledgeable. The house looks great, and, so far, there have been no problems with the new roof or siding.
Overall, the project came out good and exactly what we wanted. A couple hiccups were resolved promptly and satisfactorily.

We recently had our roof, James Hardie siding, windows and capping done by Porter Family Contracting. Our home looks incredible and we have had many neighbors and friends comment on how wonderful the house looks. The workmanship and professionalism of all the workers on the job site was exceptional. All phases of the job were discussed with us before and during construction. We didn’t encounter any “surprise” additional costs, in fact, we were charged less for some roof decking that we were aware had to be replacedthan we were originally quoted. Additionally, the original Porter quote was the best price we received. We couldn’t be happier with the entire project and would highly recommend Porter Family Contracting to anyone interested in improving their home.

Porter Family did really nice job for me and my family. I found them to be super helpful in selecting the right set of materials, warranty and installation approach. during the job (new roof) they took real care to protect my house and shrubs from falling debris. The people were friendly and always respectful of my property. I liked how they have a project manager come back a few days after the job to review everything and get final sign off before the final portion of the payment. I had gotten a number of bids and noticed the pricing was really good.
The crew was very professional. Job was complete in a timely manner and my property was clean up when they left.
They did a great job they had an order each person followed and made sure they covered the bushes along side of the house. They followed a clean up process each time they did one of the jobs that they were assigned. If I had a question they answered it immediately.
Roy was very knowledgeable professional and was there to fix the only problem I had right away I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof very satisfied customer

I was completely satisfied with the job that Porter Family Contracting did for me. However, I had asked for the person that referred me to you still has not been 'rewarded' for his referral. For this reason, I'm not going to provide any recommendations until this has been addressed and (2) how your referral program works - I received information in my sales package but if the process doesn't work or is just ignored, I will not be participating.
Our project took a very long time to fully complete (9 months) but that is not why we wouldn't likely recommend as we understood that due to the pandemic, sourcing material was difficult in some cases. Our biggest issue was that the various crews were not supervised. While the crews worked on their specific part of the project - in every case they damaged or broke something (or several things) that then needed repair. Repairs often required me sourcing a new fixture or part and/or finding a vendor to do the repair.
