We had used a previous builder. When we decided to do additional work, we chose Payne & Tompkins. We were blown away by the difference. I feel like they exceeded my expectations in many ways. They were very easy and delightful to work with, which makes a big difference when working on your home. I highly recommend them!

I highly recommend the Payne & Tompkins Renovations team. They did a great job of understanding what we wanted to do. The same project they completed was difficult to get bids for. As with most major projects, there were many challenges, but they saw the potential, understood the benefits and did a fabulous job! They were open and honest regarding the costs and timing. This was especially true with some of the changes we really wanted even once the project began. There were five major areas of improvement that were added and they were willing get it all done. Their flexibility with those changes, along with the craftsmanship and excellent communication made the project extremely worthwhile. We are really enjoying our newer home!

Overall project management and quality of workmanship was exactly as we expected, and the team did a great job in helping us through some of the more challenging design decisions that had to be made throughout the process.

The project manager was at our house almost daily to make sure the contractors were completing things on schedule. I am satisfied with everyone from Payne & Payne Renovations except for the painters. They were pathetic and sloppy. For a high-end renovation, I was not happy with them. The initial contact and demo people were great.

My husband and I are pleased with the quality of service during our renovation. We love using our sunroom and redesigned mudroom.

Having had some bad experiences in the past, I was prepared for disappointments and frustrations with this project. There were *none*. Payne & Payne were exceptional in every single way; I am absolutely delighted that we decided to work with them. Our project was not at the most expensive end of the spectrum, but we received such outstanding customer service from beginning to end that you'd think we had hired them for a multi-million dollar job. It's been several months since the project was completed, and my wife and I continue to marvel at the quality of the work. We could not be happier with the experience or with the end result. We've been recommending Payne & Payne to everyone, and we will certainly hire them again if we decide to do more work on our house. Just outstanding.
