Expectations - I expected quality workmanship and timely completion of the project. My expectations were more than met. The workmanship was excellent. The project was done on the established schedule, and everyone with whom I dealt was friendly and helpful. I give this company my highest recommendation.

Arrived on time. Gave detailed contract for work to be done. Scheduling was delayed a bit due to weather. They were professional and was able to remove the effervescence on the concrete patio. They were neat and clean. Picked up after themselves and did not leave a mess or mess up other things while completing this job.

Additional Comments - I did feel the patio needed more sealer in some spots and was willing to get some and do touch up to the areas that look like it needed more myself, however; the team came out and reassessed and put down another layer of sealer. I was impressed and thankful for the followup.

Additional Comments - The highlight of the experience is that we are a volunteer organization, and we got two bids for the project. Aaron was very responsive to our needs, recognizing that we are a volunteer organization. His preparation was so thorough that when I presented it to the board, it was approved unanimously.

Ogburn was "unofficially" recommended by a competitor as the best in the business. Despite Ogburn's price being higher, I chose Ogburn because the representative I met left me with the impression that Ogburn was "top shelf." However, while my experience was not terrible, the work (months later) does not meet my expectations for quality workmanship. I also question Ogburn's integrity and less than commendable communication. I can't say I know of another company to go with in the future mainly because my impression of Ogburn was extremely high prior to the project.

We were completely satisfied with the time our salesman, Aaron Bowman, took to help us make our decision. The final result was exactly what we wanted and everything was done on schedule.

Work was done on schedule. There was no cleaning required and area was adequately isolated until useable.

The sales part was good - good information and patience in answering my questions. The 2 workmen were great. I think your company falls down on the part about adding dirt to the edge of the concrete. I was told up front that I might need to add some bags of dirt. When the men left I went to the hardware store and got 12 bags of top soil. Then I went back and got 12 more. That is a hard job for your elderly customers - the bags are heavy. I dragged them out of the car with great difficulty and dropped them beside the pool. I hired someone to open and spread them. Why can't that be part of your service for an extra charge?

I had three expectations. One was bringing the 8 sections of my concrete patio together. Second was to maintain appropriate drainage of rainwater. Third was to seal the seams between the sections. They accomplished the first and third, but did not accomplish the second. I now have an area of my patio that turns into a pond.

The workers were easy to get along with, and they were helpful in explaining everything to me.

The only concern I had was that the invoice was changed 2 or 3 times. I think they should think that this could cause concerns in the future to customers.

Scott estimated the price in a transparent, detailed way, offering options for different price levels. Donovan and Todd performed the work carefully and finished the job by the projected time. I would enthusiastically recommend Ogburn for quality concrete repair.

The employees from Ogburn were all very knowledgeable and friendly.

I saw on the Vuba website, and there were many color options. Ogburn only had 3 to choose from. It was hard to imagine what it would look like in place of concrete. Change is hard after 40 years.

It was not a big job and frankly I could not get some companies to even quote the job. The results were fantastic, and the costs were very reasonable. Would highly recommend them for any concrete job.

My neighbors have looked at my project and may be contacting Ogburn Construction for quotes.

From the sales, right down to the execution of the project, every one of your team members were upbeat and ready to answer any questions I had. I really like that they were using my project for training and how patient the trainers were with the trainees in showing them the different steps of the project. I also greatly appreciate the diversity of your employees and trainees.

From the beginning of the process with Marcus through the end of the job with the crew that did the work and everyone in between especially Danielle in the office, everybody was professional and understanding of our needs as a homeowner. The work was done efficiently and without having to go behind them to clean up afterwards. Very pleased with the work and the clean up after the job.
