As the COVID-19 situation evolves, the safety of our team members and customers remains paramount. At this time, NewSouth is maintaining regular operations and will continue scheduling estimates (in-home or private factory showroom appointments available), installations, inspections, and service appointments.
We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable and have implemented several procedures to help protect our employees and customers:
- NewSouth Window’s offices and showrooms are being sanitized multiple times daily by a professional cleaning company.
- We’ve advised our employees to follow procedures outlined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regarding hygiene, personal travel and social distancing.
- All team members are encouraged to wash their hands frequently or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
- All window and presentation samples are sanitized after each demonstration.
- Our staff has also been advised to stay home if they have any health concerns or are feeling under the weather.
We are continuing to manufacture our windows and doors, as well as install and service in the home, with the utmost precautions. We are watching for CDC and local government updates constantly and will continue to review our policies and procedures with the aim of strengthening our COVID-19 response to further align with updated public health advice and guidelines. We bought the windows and sliding doors on 6/25/21. They were installed on 9/28/21 as communicated to us. Window and door quality is great! The inspection failed - screws on all 3 sliding doors were not screwed in flush and one window was missing a third screw on each side. We were not happy that the repair job was not given any priority and we had to wait an additional 4 weeks after the installation. Otherwise, everyone was pleasant to work with and professional.
The windows broke twice on delivery from poor packaging. The replacement window caused my other window not to open, which I'm still waiting to be fixed.
Window replaced/installed by Elvis and Owen has transformed the room. Workmanship exceptional. Window made and installed in significantly less wait time than stated by other vendors. Office staff (Emily and Jill) were professional and courteous in updating us through the process. Very satisfied with this business (Bonita Springs office).
Yes, I would not recommend New South Windows to a friend. The way the installation was handled and lack of follow up.
The entire experience was pleasant. The installation crew did an outstanding job. The windows look great. The thermal barrier and noise isolation are already making a difference in our home. Our a/c runs a lot less frequently with the new windows. With luck, we won't have to try out the impact feature any time soon. Post install follow-up and customer service experience were a very pleasant surprise. I recommend New South Windows.

Everyone I dealt with was efficient and easy to deal with. Everyone showed up at the agreed upon time, I was kept up to date with any changes that occurred and the install went perfectly. I have since ordered master bedroom replaced windows. I have recommended New South to others looking for new windows with no hesitation.
Overall timeline - weeks off schedule. Performs work without required permits. Uses COVID as an excuse for any promise that they cannot deliver on. Windows not ready - COVID. Doors not ready, which they don't even manufacture themselves - COVID. Permit(s) didn't get pulled 5 months ago when the contract was signed - COVID. I can't wait to see what else they blame on COVID.
Properly overpriced to boot, but time will tell on the quality front; I will not be surprised when they cannot deliver on all the promises the salesperson made.
We ordered nine replacement windows for our home and everyone we were in contact with from the salesman to the installers were professional and friendly. There was a delay due to Covid but they kept us informed along the way. We did have some issues after installation with some water intrusion and eventually had to replace one of the new windows. New South stepped up and honored their warranty and installed a replacement window for us. I have more windows that eventually will need to be replaced and I wouldn't hesitate in using New South Windows to install them.

Product - I have enjoyed the sound and heat proofing. My favorite thing is the security. You would have to work hard to get into the window. The security of the impact glass is great.
