I was impressed that Brenda made the 1-1/2 hour trip multiple times to review my project and provide a solution and quote that we could agreed upon. They were able to start the project as promised, but weather delayed it by a week. Nice to have a Job Site Manager to keep me abreast and ask me questions about issues that I needed to respond to allow them to work through them.

Brenda was extremely professional, she handled my estimate from the very beginning and stayed involved until the project was finished, addressing every question I had along the way. During the construction process, Jose was also very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

We are very pleased with our decision to use Macaw Construction to replace 35 year old cedar wood siding with James Hardie fiber cement board siding and gutters. Not only did they do excellent work, their installers were professional, courteous and worked hard all-day every day. Both Brenda and Douglas were excellent communicators and made the process as easy as possible for us. Their in-house project coordinators were wonderful and easy to work with as well. We wouldn’t hesitate to call on them again.

Excellent renovation including new roof, addition of Covered Porch and replaced entire exterior with James Hardie plank. Very responsive, clean job site, worked full days, neighbors commented that the crew was so particular that it looked like they were working on their own house. This was a major renovation and took almost 2-1/2 months and we can not only say that the end product turned out great but the entire process was seamless and Macaw was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Macaw did a great job from start to finish. Very attentive to details, my questions along the way and kept the place looking decent during the 2-1/2 months of work. Would highly recommend them to anyone getting a new roof, siding or porch.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Overall, they exceeded my expectations when they took off my old siding. They saw the plywood underneath was dry and rotted and they very quickly took care of all of that. It was more extensive than expected and they addressed and took care of it. I also had a bad window screen that wasn't their fault, but they repaired it for me at no additional charge. They went above and beyond with a lot of little things.

I've already recommended them to two other friends.

My husband selected this company as they were a Hardie board approved installer. We were impressed with their work in our neighborhood. We first had the house converted. We had the front porch, walkway to the lake & half of the upper deck converted to Trex board. The largest project was the addition of a sunroom on half of the upper deck with specialized windows. Brenda even recommended the perfect company to add shades to the windows. We also had two sliding glass doors added to the basement & six new skylights. Touch up painting was done to cover leaks in the ceiling of several rooms throughout the house. The house now looks like a new one as so many changes were made!

Clean

Clean - Clean up was done after each segment of construction. It was especially nice to have the dumpster at the end of the driveway in the end to get some things out of the garage.

Communication - Communication was excellent through the use of emails, texts & telephone calls.

Schedule - There were compromises made on both sides to adjust to a schedule that would work for both parties.
