They don't take care of things. I would never use them. They stole things including money and my wedding dress. Not only that, they brought us back things that were not ours.

After smoke damage to our home, with no explanations of costs or procedures, or questions about anything at all, Evans came in and took every piece of fabric, leather, or rubber; every rug, rag, curtain, old shoe, single glove, towel, ancient yellowed pillowcase, old painting clothes, etc., out of our home. As they were leaving, they had us sign some forms, which they gave us copies of days later when we asked. They cleaned everything, packed it in tissue in boxes and bags, and returned it, but only AFTER receiving payment from the insurance company weeks later. The experience we had convinced us that this service preys on people who have no idea what to do after a fire, or how much it will cost. We were told that things not worth replacing would be tossed; that did not happen. We had no idea what would be taken until after it was gone.
They did a good job!
We had some stuff that was discarded that was never turned into the insurance or made known to us. We found out after the fact that it was thrown into the trash.
They hold your stuff for ransom until it's paid. They went through my insurance, and they don't even start cleaning your stuff until the insurance pays them.

If you send your clothes to Lyons Restores, make sure that you tag each one of them and have the same documents written down that they do so that you can get all of your clothes back.
I have had an atrocious experience with this company. Multiple items are still missing as well. As items that we have gotten back have been found damaged or ruined that were not in that condition when they left. Things that were special got taken without anybody asking if they needed to be taken and it was ruined. It has been three weeks since the original delivery and not one person has reached out to initiate contact. I have had to be the one to reach out and then I am still told that someone should be reaching out to me that day. This is after they don’t respond me for 24 hours, I am left with damaged things and no answers on where the rest of my items are, or when I will be getting them back. To say, I am disappointed, heartbroken, and infuriated is an absolute understatement. I have no words to describe the way I am feeling right now.

I have requested an itemized statement of damaged clothing that was financially reimbursed to me in the amt of $862.10. Have waited over 4 wks. No itemized statement.
They picked up all my rugs after the house flooded. They brought them back clean and beautiful. All but one rug was returned. It still has not been returned. The return was delayed.
A lot of clothes came back with stretched out collars and had a chemical/unclean feeling to them. Everything had to be rewashed and some things just tossed.
The first batch of clothes we got back had a very strong odor of chemicals, we had to re-wash all of them. The second batch was much better.
They did a great job.
I am likely to recommend Evans Garment Restoration to a friend because my experience was from a house fire, they very quickly removed our material belongings, and they very quickly cleaned them and brought them back in excellent condition.
My high end purses were burnt and still cleaned
Mostly it was good, but they damaged a pair of pants, and I still have not received my wedding dress back. I called and left messages, with no response, then called again and was told it was still being processed and they would have Stephanie call me. She never did. I have not called in awhile.
