Since communication is a very important part of a project being successful, I recommend that the computer and/or programs in place be updated.I tried to get emails and send emails to the Lariat Company, but found out they were not compatible. Owner had to use his personal email to be able to communicate with me.
They were very receptive and friendly with no issues.
There was very little communication between the foreman and the crew. On more than one occasion, either my wife or I had to tell the crew what their tasks that day would include. We asked for a closet built under our stairwell, which was not part of the insurance claim. My wife managed to catch the crew as they were beginning to frame out a closet next to the stairwell. They had started to cut up the carpet, which we now have to find somebody else to fix. We had to get the crew back to our house at least twice because their first efforts to repaint our ceiling were unsatisfactory. The crew continually put their trash in our garbage and recycling bins despite the foreman telling me he told them not to. I had to take non-recyclable garbage out of the recycling bin on several occasions. As part of the reconstruction, they had to replace moulding and caulking in one of our bathrooms. They didn't use enough caulk, so I arranged with our insurance adjuster and the foreman to have the crew patch the gap on their last day. When the crew arrived, I found out they had not been told about that task. They had also not been told that our insurance company agreed to pay for repainting of a wall in our kitchen. I had to ask them to contact the foreman and then I had to choose a color on the spot.
Area For Improvement - Our contact with Lariat was always available to us via text or phone call when we had questions.
They were a little late. But after that they did everything very well.

Additional Comments - I would like to recognize Marco or Mario from Lariat, he was the general contractor. He provided excellent service.

Area Of Satisfaction - I was most satisfied with the entire claim process and the fact that the insurance company worked directly with the Lariat Builders group. They saved me a lot of time and phone calls.
The roof work began the week before Thanksgiving we are now the 8th of February and work is not completed and roof is still leaking.
Area Of Satisfaction - They're very professional and cover everything. I was satisfied with everything. They explained everything and gave me choices of material.
Very good workers who were responsive to our needs. the only thing is that they are not too interested is following up on agreed extra work after the initial insurance work is completed. Asked for some roof repair and they have basically ignored the request.
The process was explained to me and all my questions answered. The employees were friendly and very helpful.
