Poor communication. The agent Ryan was not friendly at all and never returned my call. They removed so much damage but gave an estimate to repair at less that a third of what it would cost.
I thought they were very unprofessional. The person in charge of my job admitted that he lied to me about things. Lang Restoration and Construction also did not do things in a timely manner.
I would never recommend Lang Restoration and Construction to anyone. All of problems stemmed from horrible project management. The completion time for the project was literally 5x what was promised. Quality of work was poor, corners were cut, and our new flooring was damaged in several places and never repaired as promised. The PM was extremely hard to get a hold of. We eventually had to involve the leadership members at Lang just to get the work somewhat finished.
I would recommend the company and the service of the technicians, but the office staff would be the hard to recommend.
DON’T DO IT! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLE!
Lang was beyond professional, ahead of schedule and exceeded my expectations. I would use them and recommend them in the future.
I plan to use them for other projects.
I feel that Lang Construction is a company that does not adhere to the timeline promised and the communication with staff is lacking. Phone calls are not returned and a sense of urgency is not present when it comes to getting work done. They seem to have little interest in customer satisfaction and this is evident in their relations with their customers.
The entire experience was made so much easier because of Tony and the crew at Lang. Coming home from a month long trip to find mold 5 feet up the basement walls was a terrible experience which was made easier by this crew. I thank everyone who worked on my house.
Our project went over-schedule, and had issues at every step (a floor installed that didn't match samples, issues re-connecting HVAC, a leak on the last day of construction that led to a hole in our ceiling, to shoddy construction like lighting cans that didn't match, and moulding that didn't match) This, along with several other points of miscommunication leads me to not recommend Lang Construction.
I probably would not recommend them.
They missed a damaged area. They ruined all the wine in the wine cooler. Never seemed to care about my distroyed room. The manager in charge was all about him. It took 90 days to get fixed. Lang's mitigation took 9 weeks pf our schedule before they were fired. Just horrible experience
From beginning to end, I was very impressed with Lang from their communication to their workmanship. I would certainly recommend to them to anyone who needs the work.
Lang Construction represents quality staff members and outstanding workmanship.
Prompt response to my restoration needs; Lang had excellent skills and creative ideas to achieve my goals.
Poor choice of subcontractors.
I wasnt happy with Lang at all, job isnt done still at this time.
The only other thing I would add is I think it ended up being done correctly, but during the process I had to actually manage them because their subcontractors would do something incorrect. They would have to send someone out to fix it, so there were a lot of issues with us having to manage the project.
Alacrity Program Helpful? - The process was efficient and reliable.
Area Of Satisfaction - I loved their customer service.
Additional Comments - All personnel that I dealt with from Lang Restoration and Construction and Allstate were professional. I was always updated on the progress or delays of the project. They were responsive to my questions and calls. I am very pleased with overall project. It was a massive project and they were able to deliver.
