I purchased windows for a rental house I am fixing up. The windows were under a cathedral ceiling and were somewhat irregular in shape and difficult to measure properly. Three of the six windows I ordered did not fit properly due to the irregular wood frames in which they had to be placed. Lake Washington Window and Doors ordered new windows at their expense and the final installation looks great. The company was extremely professional throughout the entire process and always kept me informed regarding timetables. I have used other window companies in the past but none have performed as well as Lake Washington Window and door. I highly recommend them to anyone

My windows were damaged as the result of negligence on the part of a neighbors' roofer. After they refused to pay I needed my insurance company to take charge. I was very impressed with the insight and ideas that Eric and Adrian came up with to improve our experience with windows and Doors. It feels like a new house. What a professional organization from start to end. First, Matt went over my needs by discussing the different types of windows I could use. Based on his input and our discussions, I was able to select the best windows for my specific project. Next, I worked with scheduling (office staff) and found them to be very accommodating based on conflicts I faced. The installation went very smoothly and the lead installer was able to take time to answer my questions to my satisfaction. With the project completed Matt followed up to assure my satisfaction with the installation, and finally I found the office staff very professional in handling the final processing. Overall, I found LWW&D's organization to be well run and professional and I will use them again.

This company is top notch and I highly recommend them to anyone. Everything from the sales person to the installers; they were professional, efficient and friendly.

Everything else about the window replacement was wonderful. I really liked and trusted Jon Wood, I really liked the guys who installed the windows--they were wonderful and respectful and I didn't feel weird about having them in my house for half a day. The windows are wonderful and I feel like we got them at a good price. My main frustration really is that you knew the evening before that your installers would not be coming to my house, and yet you didn't call in the evening, and you didn't even call right away at 8 a.m., which was the earliest time you said the installation could start. The windows were completely broken and it was a cold day, but I had removed everything I had put on them to keep the cold air from blowing in.

They were fantastic! They were extremely professional and timely and willing to follow up multiple times with us. They were very attentive. Matthew was phenomenal!

When we decided to replace our windows last year, we spent significant time researching contractors and then hired Lake Washington Windows & Doors after reading reviews from various sites.We met with Jon Wood, a sales rep, in July. He is very knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and professional and does not use high pressure sales tactics. Among the 6 bids we received, Jon was the only person who sent a detailed quote. His quote was transparent and his bid was the most competitive. While we highly recommend Jon, we were also very happy with the office staff and installation team. The installation team (Mark & Ryan) was very friendly, respectful, meticulous and professional. Before they took out the old windows, they covered the interior side of windows with plastic and tape so that no dust or cold air could come in. They vacuumed the area and carpet after each installation. They cleaned our driveway and yard at the end of each day and cleaned all of the windows when they completed the project. The installation team maintained their friendly, helpful attitude throughout the process (a whole week) and made this a very enjoyable experience for us.Tahlia, a sales coordinator, was on top of scheduling the critical measurement, installation and trim delivery dates. She was thoughtful and professional. (We took Lake Washington’s offer to get the exterior trim delivered in advance so that we could ensure it was painted to match the color of our house.) Mike came to do the critical measurement and gave us fair amount of useful information that we were not aware of. As an ex-Milgard employee, he was also very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Dale, a project manager, stopped by a few times during the work and made sure that everything was on track to get the job done right and on time. Heather, a sales receptionist, has been following up with us to make sure that we’re fully satisfied with the project since the completion of the project.We chose Milgard because it’s well known for quality products and provides a lifetime warranty. In addition to Milgard's lifetime warranty, Lake Washington also provides a 10-year installation warranty, which is far better than the rest of window contractors we met with.

The installers were very polite and did the install of a beautiful French door with perfection. They also had to coordinate with my deck installer to finish the job. I'm very pleased with my new door.

From initial visit to showroom, meeting the crew, scheduling, solution finding with Sales person Eric Snyder, and finally installation by Yom and Manual (what a team, no wasted motion!), met and exceeded all of our expectations. Passed the test of heavy rain last week with no issues. Room feels more comfortable as well.

The employees at Lake Washington Windows and Doors are very professional in all areas of their organization. They made my life very easy with no stress and were very accommodating in setting my initial meeting, making the exact window measurements, and the installation. They answered all my questions about the windows and installation in a manner that I could understand. I felt the consumer (me) was the KING in this experience.

Outstanding help and advise from the sales person, then working with the installers was great. Just to see if the price was in the ballpark, I got two other quotes, I found the LWW&D price and product was better in every case.

LWW&D started out well. The salesman Matt was helpful and responsive. The rest of the process did not go as well. We were given an installation date and a list of things that we needed to have ready. We had some other things going, but we put them aside and got our end of the work done. Our start date was then postponed 4 times. This caused a fair amount of inconvenience because we would clear days only to find out the start of the job was again postponed. Finally a crew came to set our garden window. The window arrived with the top pane cracked. I was assured that the pane could be replaced once the window was installed so we went ahead with the installation. The glass was replaced at a later date. Next came the install of our large (16') slider. The crew came in and did a quality job on the framing. The crew came back another day to finish the slider install and to replace the siding on the house. I was not present during this work, when I returned, I found several things wrong. The worst part was that the right side screen would not stay in the track when closed. Several times it fell out when we tried to close it. Also the right screen door was different than the left and of inferior quality. Also our Comcast cable was cut and left hanging. When LWW&D's quality control guy came out, he found that the track for the screen door was installed improperly. To correct the installation, the entire top piece of trim had to be removed. This was actually a fairly extensive job and I ended up helping with it. I feel that LWW&G is a decent company and they do make the effort to make things right, but that their execution of the actual work needs improvement. Their salesman, Matt and their quality control guy Mike were both excellent.

I did not receive a call when my windows had been ordered. The critical measurements were taken in a timely manner but received no call when the windows had been ordered.. After six weeks I had to call for status and was told they had just come in.

Stand up job, I'm very happy with the whole experience.

I loved the craftsmanship of the windows. The staff and the crew was easy to work with. It was a fantastic experience. There was no high pressure sales.

The knowledgeable salesman talked to us about our needs and gave us some options, followed up with an estimate, and the measuring, ordering and installation of the door happened right on time as promised. I found the company and the workers very easy to work with and accommodating.

I really appreciated how timely and attentive the representative was. I felt like my business was valued and they were working to ensure I was satisfied. Unfortunately the doors we ended up with don't perfectly fit the style of our home, but I think this was the closest that was available without a custom door. I wish that the range of options was greater. During installation there were issues and they had to come back the next day (Saturday) to finish it off. I appreciated that they didn't hesitate to do so but it was worrisome at the time. The end product looks like it is going to be reliable in our home and the only things that are non-ideal are that the silicone on the window isn't very cleanly applied (it runs out onto the window a bit in places) and the weather stripping between the doors is dark on white doors and stands out quite a bit from the inside.

The best move I made was contacting Lake Washington windows.. This company more than bent over backwards to see that the job was done in a timely manor , with so much care taken to install the windows and door.. I diffently would recommend this company to people in our area. Thank you.

The five star rating is due to the immediate follow up work the next day by Mike (Production Manager) to complete the interior installation work that was agreed. Overall, LWWD did a good job of installing 4 large Millgard windows in our Family Room, another small dining room window, and a powder bathroom window.

The windows are great and Joe and Scott did a much better job on the installation than the crew that previously installed the windows in the back of the house leaving us with damaged siding.

Very well done, very professional, completed the task in a timely manner.

My project was a rainscreen siding on the south side of my home. It gets hammered by our northwest weather all winter long. They were on time and of course there were some hidden finds that they were able to remedy. Experience is key and they have it. I will be using them for the rest of my windows and siding.
