K-Designers’ origin dates back to 1978 when Larry and Lee Judson opened their fledgling business with four employees.
Today, we have over 260 employees and associates and are one of the largest remodeling contractors in the United States, however, we’re not stopping here, as our mission is to continue to grow so that we may serve more homeowners in the years to come.
We firmly believe that our success has been, and will continue to be, a reflection of our commitment to giving our customers the best value for their money — that means using the best materials available, not just the most expensive ones.

One guy showed up on time every day and the other guy showed up when he wanted to. Apparently, he was the boss. He sometimes did not show up till noon or 1pm, and the other guy has been there for 4 hours working alone. He did his best, but apparently the other guy is the boss. It would have been nice if the other guy had showed up at the same time so they could have got it done faster. I had a safe step walk in tub put in my other home, and they got it done in one day. They had 6 guys working. This one was just one guy for almost all of it and one guy part time, who is apparently the boss. It took a little longer than I thought it should have taken them. Otherwise, I would have given them a ten because the tub looks great.

I hate and do not approve of K-Designers - Salt Lake City at all. I would not recommend K-Designers - Salt Lake City. They are very unprofessional, do not follow code, argue when asked questions, and their customer service is horrible. They threatened to put a lien on my house, and the job was not completed per the city code.

They didn't have everything here to get it done. We had to end up going with corner shelves. They were able to work things out. I just wish it would have worked out the original way.

Windows looked good on installation but they were not tinted as much as I expected. When I tried to have them tinted I found out the glass is installed backwards except for 1 window out of 12. If I put tint on them it can not be removed without scratching the window. They will not make this right.

They were very patient with us making decisions, and not pushy. They explained everything straight and narrow to us, what they would do, and what to expect. Not only that, but they made my wife and I feel comfortable when we were not sure about this. We went into it blinded and after the presentation, it was amazing how well the two conducted themselves. It was Mr. Kelvyn Terry and the guy with him. They were both wonderful.

I was surprised and not disappointed. They are fast and high quality. My house was built in 1938. I wish I would have known about them earlier.

Yes! Shopping around, their prices were good and the price came with installation which others didn't. Their windows, themselves, were of better quality than I've seen anywhere and now that they are installed, they look great. We are very happy with our purchase and there is zero buyers remorse.

Still Considering Us - We have already signed a contract. Brett was so wonderful. He wasn't pushy or just out to get the sale. We felt like he cared about us.

No, the communication was poor and the shower bench is falling off the wall. We've had it 3 weeks

I signed the contract in August and the job was not even started until November and finally completed in January. I even told them not to do the sink, counter, and faucet because everything was taking so long. I paid the full price even though the counter, sink, and faucet were not done.
