Very good
Workers arrived on time and did a good job on the roof, however after removing the shingles they said that there were rotten boards that needed to be replaced. The bill was 2,668 dollars and it had to be paid separately and was unable to be financed with the roof. The person who was calling was Graham North saying this bill had to be paid. I understand that there maybe additional cost once the job is opened up but the way that they went about it I found was deceptive. My mother is in her mid nineties. I paid the bill but I won’t be doing business with you anymore and not only will I not recommend your company I will tell people to stay away.
I felt i was misled quirt a bit and the overall quality of work was lacking. Roof leaks from scaffolding nailed through shingles, my old window trim was damaged during the work. It was old but together and now each window has exposed wood. Could have offered a solution or informed me of the areas of concern.
The communication between the parties was terrible. There was no real salesperson I had. There was a suggestion made to me that I had agreed with, but they lied about it later on. Some windows were replaced that were incorrect from day one. I asked them for better windows or different manufacturers. It took six installations before they did that, and this just got resolved this week. The people I dealt with are nice, but the process was terrible. The communication was terrible between departments and me. This project started in October 2022, and we just got this resolved.
The service was fantastic. They were prompt, and they did good work.
I appreciated the communication. They addressed problems before I knew they existed. They went the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction.
Great job done took pride in their work
Starting with Josh and straight down to all the workers, it was just great. Everyone was so nice.
I was very pleased with the final look of my new roof. It ended up being a bigger job than originally expected due to rotten wood under the original shingles, but I was kept up to date and the team replaced all of the wood and shingles in a single day.
While pricier than the big box stores, the quality of the door and the professionalism of the installers was well worth it. This is in comparison to some other projects I had the big box stores complete in the past.
I would highly recommend them! HomeFix Custom Remodeling Charlotte did an excellent job installing our door. I love the color, and how beautiful it looks. Our curve appeal has multiplied exponentially! Thank you for our new beautiful front door.
I have already talked to a lot of my friends who have come by and seen the work. I gave them HomeFix Custom Remodeling Charlotte's cards.
It took two and a half months to get the merchandise.
I was very satisfied with the work that was done by the installation crew.
HomeFix Custom Remodeling Charlotte provided great customer service. The installers were very friendly.
I had a very good experience with HomeFix and highly recommend them. Every single person was helpful and nice.
The door is nice. The crew did a good job installing it. However the proposal included disposal of the old door. The crew told me they don't dispose of old doors, and left it in my yard for me to take care of.
I'm very pleased with their work. They did a very good job.
My only complaint is no one in the crew could speak English. Communication sucked. The salesman told me the flashing would be replaced but it was not.
we found the prices to be higher than competitors and in excess of our insurance estimate.
We got new exterior doors, new windows, new roof, and solar shingles done through this company.(all ar the same time, not seperate projects) At the beginning everything was great but then after we finally signed everything, some minor things started happening. These by themselves wouldnt normally be a big deal but because we had lots of little things, it got frustrating really fast.
First off because it was me and my husband on paperwork, he always gets set as the 'primary' person which was frustrating because everytime one of the departments called for a question/scheduling/re scheduling they would call him despite him and me telling them multiple times to call me not him.
Because we added on our exterior doors over the phone after ordering windows and roof (which was probably a mistake to begin with, should have got them to come back to the house), 2 of our doors were ordered the wrong direction. Fortunatley one of the wrong doors was actually correct but incorrect on paperwork, and the other was correct on paperwork but ordered in correctly. They tried to call my husband and they were trying to figure out if they needed to order both doors or one but of course that wasnt correct, so then i tried calling to get things sorted and radio silence. Eventually i got through and got it sorted out.
When we got to the roof, it had to be rescheduled 2x. First because they were still working on another customers roof and then 2nd because of rain (which i totally get), but we had scheduled the roof and then the electrical for solar near each other, but when the roof got pushed back the 2nd time the electrical part got pushed back a month past the roof install. Which was of course frustrating, but then on the friday before electrical was supposed to come we get a message saying electrical cant/wont come on monday because they arent in town. And the soonest they could come is another month later.
I had a few after the fact questions for the person who sold us the projects and i found out by way of emailing them that they are no longer part of the company, which fine i get, but it would have been nice to be given another point of contact since our current one no longer was there. So then i had to call the generic number who can only semd a message to the person who we are trying to contact/ a manager/ the specific project department i.e. windows or doors etc.. was trying to get a hold of a supervisor because my email person was no longer working there and the phone number is just to a veneric person so they couldnt answer my questions. It took calling once a week, sometimes twice for a month and practically yelling at them to finally get a hold of someone, and yes i mentioned it was a time sensitive question as my first monthly payment was due to go through the following month.
Overall the products are great and when they need something from you they are calling/emaing/texting but the minute you need something from them they take their sweet time on getting back to you.
HomeFix Custom Remodeling Charlotte could have been more responsive. The doors I ordered took six months to arrive.
I would definitely recommend, very communicative , answered all my questions, professional.
The product is excellent, and the installation team was great.
Love my new roof, outstanding shingle crew.
