From the inspection of my roof, through the presentation of options, and all the way through the actual roofing job, the company did a wonderful job with everything.

I’ve already told a lot of people about Home Genius. I’ll recommend them to a lot more people.

I am very satisfied with the outcome. My roof looks very nice. I had some hiccups with the salesman. I was told that the company does not subcontract even after I specifically asked him about it since I had a bad experience with another company that subcontracted. Financing was another glitch I had, I said I could only pay a max of so much and what he came up with was almost 2 times that. Some of the misunderstanding may have been my fault but I was steered in wrong direction. Also I was told that if I didn't take the price I was quoted that it would go up in price, I told him I had others coming for quotes later in the week and I felt pressured to take the deal. I felt it was a great product and warranty but still had my doubts.

I was very happy with the crews, how good they were, and how hard they worked.

Home Genius Exteriors - Pittsburgh was very thorough, fast, and they cleaned up well. However, they do owe me one small thing.

I haven't had the opportunity to get into my attic during a rainstorm to look for leaks ( not easy to do) but when someone came out to interview me after the work was done I pointed to a broken porch light and was told a gift card was to be sent. A month later nothing and things like this concerns me about the company. Also the salesman made a statement my attic fan was not needed and the new vents would correct this issue. I believe the fan runs more than with the old roof?

My project manager was non existent, I don't know if I got what I paid for or not, my gutter still isn't hanging correctly and nobody seems to care

After the project was completed and I signed off, your field rep and project manager did not answer their phones or reply back to my messages. This seems kind-of typical this day and age !!!

They were absolutely amazing. They got here in the morning and were done at four. That was the fastest I have ever seen a company complete a roof. The guys were very professional and amazing.

The contractors arrived on time, got straight to work, took minimal breaks, completed the roof, cleaned up and were gone. My roof was completed in about seven hours.

They were a great team. They did a wonderful job. After they left the job site, I had to call them, and they came right back. They had to fix a leaking gutter.

Unprofessional crew and careless

The dumpster was left in the driveway for 6 days after the work was completed. The ‘project manager’ called the night before to advise the roof was to be put on the next day, and even asked if the number he called was also the number he could text for updates, I said yes. He never texted or called or anything. I had somebody else text and ask if the roof was done. I said yes. That’s it? That’s all the communication I get? What about the extra particle board? Did they use it? Where there any issues? Complete lack of customer service in my mind. Grab the money and get the **** out.

They were very kind, would not move forward with work until we reached back out so that we were all on the same page when it came to cost and looks, and quality.

I needed to cancel the job because I had something come up and could not afford the job right now. I then came to find out that the only way to cancel was send a letter to California within 3 days that left me with 24hours to get it there. This was not explained to me at the time of my inspection before I signed I planned on getting the roof done then had something come up I feel it was dishonest and deceptive to leave this out when I signed. I would have waited before signing.

The team was very professional. I heard no yelling, arguing or foul language. With another concrete co. The was arguing, yelling, and foul language. I had to turn my stereo on to muffle that crew.

The quality of the products can’t be beat, the quality of installation is without question better than you will find anywhere, and the efficiency at which things are scheduled and completed is superb! Completely satisfied customer who is already scheduled to have more projects done!
