I'm really happy with my overall experience of working with Highland Construction. Once I contacted my Insurance company, the project was quickly set in motion. The estimator came out right away to estimate the repair costs, the program manager was very good at communicating with me using text messages, voice mail, or a personal visit to my home. The work crew did an excellent job with the repairs. The repairs look "good as new".
Working with Sam, the Project Manager, was awesome. He gave me options as needed.
Company left my house dirty from their work which I had to pay to get clean. They fixed the ceiling damaged by tree falling on my home; yet, would not paint the water stains left from the incident. They damaged an expensive large curtain rod in the living area which has multiple expensive silk curtains hanging on it. I did not broach the subject because it was not worth the hassle we management. They will get the job done, just don’t expect to be fully happy with the results.

The quality of work was excellent everyone was professional and respectful. We had a mishap and some confusion, but they quickly resolved the issues. They went abode and beyond for us.

We had a situation. The last situation we had they came out and I had worked with one of the guys a long time at another property as well as here. He came out, did the inspections and got the quote. The guy put the job through to the project manager and it was a good month maybe or month and a half before things got resolved. I guess they ended up firing him. I included everyone on the emails and they kind of dropped the ball on that one and I wasn't happy because it took practically two months when it should have been done roughly in 2 weeks or somewhere around there.
Never. Borderline criminals.
The team of Kris and KC were extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They were the first ones here the day of our loss and wouldn’t stop until my house was dry and water damage removed. Very happy and would recommend Highland and that team in particular again.
They started work the first day they were here and finished by the end of the week. They were helpful and knowledgeable.
The job was done as fast as possible. Our needs and concerns were always addressed immediately.
They didn't what they said they would do, and they have damaged my belonging and property.
They did not include the exhaust fans but did a great job on the roof. They didn't go in and check the fans properly and did not replace them. She called them and they were supposed to replace the fans and wanted to charge extra to do them. Make sure you get it written down when they guarantee you something. I don't think they stand by there word or policies.
The finished product is great, but their communication wasn't. It took about three months to get the job completed. They scheduled appointments without notifying me. There was just a lack of communication throughout the whole entire process. I was not satisfied, but it was too late to back out, since they already had half of my deposit. If I could have taken it back, I would have chosen a different company. The lack of communication was just too much for me.

Everything was handled very well and in a timely fashion. Project mgt was really on the ball and finished the project in a very short time. Would use again if the need arises.

Highland Construction was prompt and communicative. The supervisor checked the work daily.
They have poor communication. My test failed the first time, and had to be further re-mediated, and more work done. I was not kept up to date on my project. One time was over a month, and it was me that initiated communication.
