I find no fault whatsoever with any of the work or team. Everything was done smoothly and perfectly, to my satisfaction. There are no negative comments on the quality, outcome, or management of this project.
The crew made mistakes the first time. Eventually, they sent a crew to solve the issue.
Jamie who supervised the rebuild was attentive and effective, meaning he got the job done.

Preferred Contractor by my insurance company. Water Mitigation work was rough. Team upset my wife and stack items removed in garage without consulting me. Blocked access to cabinets. The crew suggested work could be done privately, rather than through Highland. PM for water mitigation work was good man.
Rebuild portion was only partially completed as I ended up taking over GC work. Highland unwilling to provide credinions on the flooring subcontractor, unwilling to use my preferred flooring company. Took a "trust me" approach. Left impression that maximizing profit was the driver, after BMS-CAT bought Highland out.
We don't have any family near here.
I felt like the whole experience was positive. It was supposed to take 2 days and they got the whole job done in 1 day. I am very pleased with the work and customer service.

Highland Construction took a very long time and worked really slowly. Sometimes they just showed up unexpectedly. They had to come back and go over so of the work they did. They said I could get a new vanity, but changed their minds and reworked the old one. They left a raw edge on the old one. I told them about it. They have not done anything about it so far.
