The energy appointment "experts" from For Energy told me that a box would need to be built within my return vent and told me that it would be an extra charge as return was pulling air from inside the walls. When the workmen came, they insisted that they never do this but put mastic around the inside of the return area. There was no adjustment of charges for the different approach than what I was told.. Then the workmen while in the attic knocked the condensation tube from the air handler (which is in the attic), disconnecting it and causing water to drain into the attic insulation until it came through the ceiling. causing dry wall and paint damage, warping of a closet door, and possible black mold growth. They were the only people in the attic before the leak. When they came back (again the first people in the attic), they found the problem, took pictures and a video then did not accept responsibility nor clean up the water. The next day, son went into the attic crawl space, glued the pipe that had come loose and soaked up the pools of water still sitting above the ceiling in tthe insullation and leaking into the ceiling. I wanted to like this group but they have not been customer oriented. They charged my credit card for final payment rather than billing me nor did they adjust for the changes in service and damages they created.
FOR has a great solar energy program. I researched many options, but in the end, this is the one that made the MOST sense, and for a reasonable price.
It was a great company to work with! They improvements and benefits were realized quickly!
The sales rep, Dan, was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He was there to answer any questions, and he did a great job.
My wife and I recently moved to Phoenix. Not knowing the area, I researched on the internet and found that the website Energy Sage had recommended FOR Energy as one of the top green conscious companies in the area. I called and was immediately impressed by their professional greetings and responses to my call. We made an appointment with Tyler Nay at our home and the rest is history. Over the last few months, he and the FOR Energy staff have performed an energy evaluation of our home, sealed ductwork and insulated areas of need, installed a solar system, added a solar powered garage venting system and are currently in the process of upgrading our single glass to high efficiency double pane glass windows. We are very pleased with their workmanship and attention to detail. Most importantly, it was very obvious that they not only work hard to improve the quality of life in our home but are also dedicated to making a lasting impact on the environment. We have highly recommended them to our family and friends.
Great people to work with...would highly recommend them.
