We really like the shower unit but the installation was messy. Purple liquid was spattered on the bathroom floor which will not come up so we will have to replace the flooring, some of the caulking is messy and the shower floor creaks when showering. I have pictures if you’re interested.
Overall, their quality was good.
I would not recommend this company. For the price you pay the quality of work is very poor. A project that was suppose to take 1 or 2 days has now been an ongoing project for over 3 months. There is a crack in the bathtub they installed and an additional leak that was not there prior to the work being done. Still waiting to this day for a call from Clayton (one of the owners and warranty guy). We’ll see if it ever gets done right…

I am very pleased with the outcome of having my roof replaced by Five Star. From getting the process started with lou and Matt following the project until the end. Also, the clean up crew did an excellent job leaving the property as clean as it was. Great Job!!
The team at 5-Star was very professional and the quality of work is top notch.
I had a challenging project with Five Star, an addition. We ran into serious delays on building materials, which wasn't Five Star's fault and they handled it well. That said, we had consistent problems with communication and coordination of subcontractors. I felt like there was no one person whose responsibility it was to make the whole project a success. I ended up filling that gap myself which was mostly fine but I couldn't do as good a job as an expert. So for instance the sliding doors ended up not centered on the wall, which led to the exterior lighting also not being centered, which led to the board and batten also not being centered, etc. Not a disaster in the scheme of things but I also think it would have been avoided with a single person at the job site every day tasked with the overall success of the project.
Josh, the installer of our shower, was amazing. He was very thorough, meticulous, personable, and clean. The only issue I had with them was that we were originally quoted 8 to 10 weeks before the installation. It was close to 16 weeks before they were actually able to do it. That was the only complaint I had. That's why I gave them four stars instead of five.

Five Star Improvements did a great job! They did a great job explaining the scope of the work and delivering on what they promised. They also completed the work during hours that were convenient for me. The overall craftsmanship was excellent!
Five Star Improvements never called me back from the time I put down my desposit to the time they completed the project, which was a year later. It took almost 50 phone calls to get them to complete my project, and I had to threaten to take my deposit back as well.
I was very impressed with the knowledge ability of the sales team. After having at least six estimates before them, they were the only ones who talked about venting my roof correctly. I had a slow leak by my chimney. It’s too soon to tell if that was corrected, but the roof looks wonderful. They worked very quickly and even though they had to work in the snow, they did a very good job of cleaning up afterwards. And would you believe they gave me the best price? They also got me the best interest rate for financing.
Five Star showed up at the agreed upon time. The area was cleaned at the end of each day. The job took 2 days. Even my neighbors commented on how nice the roof looked.
Poor workmanship and accountability. For example 2 of 4 skylights not finished right causing major leaking that they took no accountability for the damaged caused to ceiling because of this. Needed to be reminded to complete work that was in the contract.Requested in a demanding tone full payment when work no where near completion and had to be referred back to the contract. Delays and poor follow through.
The Five Star staff was very committed to handling my needs. When an issue arrived they were very dedicated to solving the issue without any type of problem. They gave me the best rate for my roof and they were very competitive. They beat out the lowest companies so they were really good.
I do not think I would recommend them.
We used Five Star Improvements to do a new roof, build an overhang, siding, windows, and new deck. Eric and Ross were great to work with from start to finish. Ahead of time they made sure we knew exactly what we were getting. Throughout the project they communicated with us to let us know what was going on. I noticed a few things I wanted changed after they were already done with areas and they came back within a day to change them for me. Our house transformation looks amazing!
Five Star did an excellent job on my new roof and skylights. Was very pleased the way they cleaned up after each day on the job and the way they left the area after they completed the job. And the craftsmanship of the interior molding around the skylights looked fantastic!
Courteous funny professional crew that addressed my concerns and assured satisfaction, leafy the site super clean every day. Top shelf service.
Terrible workmanship on my roof causing several issues that lead to opening a warranty claim within months of installation. I am so unhappy with how this project has gone, starting at DAY ONE. From an inaccurate quote (thousands of dollars off!) to several delays and now a failed installation that has caused warping and buckling of shingles all over my roof, I would never recommend this company to anyone.
