I would never recommend them to do anything. I wouldn't recommend them to clean out their own coffee cups. They should hire someone to do that.
Fire and Water Restoration, LLC provided a team of young, energetic, and professional workers to take on some major damage under my home. Over a period of a few days they went right to work as a team every morning, on time, applying their skills and common sense to get the job done. I am very thankful.
I thought the workers were not all trained on construction methods and therefore destructed far more than was necessary to dry the water damage. Little regard for how the premises would be reconstructed. Poor techniques and lack of due care resulted in more damage than necessary.
The gentlemen were professional, knowledgable and kind. My garage was left in a great condition considering all the work that had to be done. Thank you very much for your help.
I should have asked for competitor quotes.Fire & Water Restoration, LLC charged me TRIPLE of what another restoration company had charged me a few years ago for the same exact service (basement water mitigation and carpet removal).By working with my insurance company they were privy to my coverage and conveniently charged me accordingly. I'm sure an unbiased quote without insurance intervention would have resulted in a much more honest quote.
If it was not for them I do not know what I would have done. They worked around my crazy job schedule and they took care of everything.
If I ever had that kind of issue again, I would definitely use Fire & Water Restoration to do the work.

I think that the thing that surprised me and confused me was the fact that they just came in and did the work. The insurance company paid them and I had absolutely nothing to do with it. It was just completely between the insurance company and Fire & Water Restoration. I think that I should have been advised to leave the premises during the project. There were lots of fans and air conditioners in the house for a few days so living at the house was just miserable during that experience. No one advised me that I should plan on leaving during the process. I was pretty uncomfortable while they were working. My advice would be that they should get with the customer and prepare them ahead of time.
