The guys were super hard workers. They didn't leave until 9:00 at night and they arrived around 7:00 that morning. They were just really, really hard workers.
Only if they share everything. "FOUR STARS, TEN STARS FOR THE INSTALLERS" I will recommend them but caution anyone about the "sales men" (In all truth sadly I see the same in all industries, the person that does the selling isn't trained or interested in knowing about the installation of what they are selling. They don't seem willing to return calls or emails from customers with questions. They seem to act like they are better that the installers. and rarely measure correctly and communicate fully to the installation crew). It didn't matter this time (except for the OSB) the crew had everything they needed and did a great job.
Great product and company.
The installation crew was always friendly and responsive to questions and requests, cleaned up very well.
The company is very professional and efficient. Their prices are very good and I am very satisfied with their work. I highly recommend Findlay Roofing.
I found the workmanship to be sloppy. And while they did eventually fix their mistakes, dealing with customer service involved a lot of runaround.
So far, I am happy with the roofing work. Time will tell if there are any issues. Workers arrived on time and did a good job of cleaning up.
Findlay is a great company to work with.
Thank you for your quality work!
Findlay did an excellent job. During the installation a heavy down pour came out of nowhere and the crew covered up the roof. Zero water damage on the interior of my house.Everyone at the office was easy to deal with throughout the process.
Overall, I had a very good experience Findlay Roofing. My neighbor recommended them and there were at least 3-4 homes in my subdivision that have Findlay roofs so I was able to see their work firsthand. I am happy with my choice. They finished everything in one day and my roof looks beautiful.
Great company to work with!!!!
Being the highest bidder and seemingly with highest reputation, I was terribly let down by Findlay with the roofing and gutter replacement done on my home. The workmanship and communication was very very poor.Issues:- Drip edges were not installed and I had to go through a lot of stress getting them to fix this. The contract I signed very explicitly stated that drip edges were to be installed. It was ridiculous that it was not done. - They changed the slope of the roof on my porch which ruined the straight profile of the roof line which resulted in an awkward appearance from the curb. A roofing replacement is supposed to improve curb appeal not make it bad! I had to go through, again, a bunch of stress to get them to fix this.- The gutter replacement went terrible also. The gutters were not pitched correctly so that instead of evacuating water, they collected up to an inch of water! The sealant between the seams of the gutter was so sloppily applied that they formed dams and made it difficult for water to flow. When they came back to fix the gutters, the guy only fixed (removed the seal and resealed and flattened), one sealant "dam"!- During the removal of the old gutter, they were so sloppy with their tools that they actually hit the brand new expensive shingles with the claw of their hammer and gauged it! - The gutter crew was not prepared. Not only did they not bring proper tools, they had to borrow my caulking gun, they also ran out of sealant to seal the gap between the soffit and the fascia that the replaced. Insane incompetence. - Nails, debris, nails. While they may have the fancy magnetic sweepers, it seems like they did not train people how to use them or train the folks to do thorough quality work. Up to this day I am finding nails and debris from their job!I urge future customers to thoroughly educate themselves with roofing systems and how roofing should be done correctly. Do no trust "they did a good job" or "the guys were wonderful" reviews as those are worthless feedback. It was overall a very very stressful experience dealing with Findlay and I do not feel I got my money's worth. After all the goof ups, this company did not even offer a concession. Actually, I want Owens Corning inspectors to come to my home to verify that their roofing system was installed properly and that my warranty will not be voided due to Findlay's work. My terrible experience puts doubt on Owens Corning's system for labeling partners as "Platinum Preferred Contractors"
Findlay Roofing did an amazing job. The crew worked hard and long hours to complete our roof in a timely manner. We are extremely happy with the Owens Corning shingles and Findlay Roofing.
They provided excellent service and excellent work! I am very satisfied with the roof! There were some problems with the disposal of the old roof, but overall we had a great experience!
I didn't have any problems. They were cordial. I got in touch with them and they responded. I was very satisfied and they went the extra mile!
I an very happy with Findlay. Your people are exceptional.
They were very professional and very kind. I gave them water to drink and they always cleaned up after themselves. If I had a problem or needed an extra peice of plywood they let me know what they were doing the whole day of the job.
Gutters do not work and are coming off the walls after 2 weeks. We have rain pouring over the edges of the gutters, it is like standing behind a water falls. A the best bit they can not come back at "look" at them for 14 days
Very professional, On-time, Work delivered as promised.... Would recommend to anyone needing a new roof.
We have used Finley Roofing on numerous occasions, and have been very happy with all work done by them. We highly recommend them.
Anthony came out and looked at my house and made me an estimate in 24 hours. The crews did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them. They are a great company to work with.
Communication was good before and during installation. After the roof was completed, it leaked in two places. I could not get someone out to repair it. After many phone calls and text messages, someone came out and squirted clear shiny silicone all over exterior chimney and dormer. The worker was disgruntled and rude as well. Getting someone to repair the repair has been difficult as well. Overall, the roof is pretty, and as long as the aesthetics of my home are restored in a timely manner, and the roof stops leaking, I will be happy.
I originally intended to choose from a number of re-roofing proposals re price, quality of materials used, etc. Findlay Roofing happened to be the first company that I selected based on their advertising in the AJC. I was so impressed with their timely response to my request for a review of my roof, and especially with the price that was provided, that I went no further. I selected Findlay and have already recommended them to one of my neighbors!
I knew Findlay Roofing ten years ago, it's not the same company it was ten years ago. They were very good ten years ago. That is why I came back to them. I am very disappointed this time.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Findlay Roofing/Roof Roof as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
