I give 4 stars instead of 5 only because the cleanup of small items was not well done. Nails/staples/other small metal. I picked about 3-4 pounds of items myself.

The project manager, Michael, was responsive and kept up with the project as it moved forward. We had all new siding (Hardie), Facia, Soffit, Gutters with covers (gutters were very well routed, much better then then original install) and paint to top it off. The house looks great!!!! The 3 different crews (siding, painting, gutters) all did a great job. Their work was accurate, and we communicated as needed.

The estimate we had was about $10K less than another firm had quoted and the Exovations quoted price was the final price. A few tweaks to the job were absorbed by the estimate. The only other added charge was for damaged OSB sheets, and we had expected that (only 2 sheets were found under the siding with issues at the chimney and that was less that I had expected to see). The other quote we had would have charged us double what Exovations charge per sheet!

We had a few follow-up items to take care of and they were. The job was completed ahead of schedule.

We have a great warranty for the Paint (Sherwin-Williams) and you get 3 free samples to test your colors. The Hardies items (Siding/soffit/facia) all have a great warranty. You also get a warranty for the work done, check with Exovations for the details.

We are very pleased with the work Exovations did for us. They replaced & painted the siding and the basement door very rapidly and yet very meticulously. We particularly appreciated the clean up during the day and at the end of the day before the crew left. They also cleaned the dryer vent cover, which is located on the 2nd floor above a sloping bank of ground cover, and replaced a cracked window glass, as well as replacing the burned out floodlights. The crews were polite and helpful and very considerate in the matter of noise, as far as possible with all the hammering necessary. Kent Lang did great coordinating the job.

They did an excellent job, they even did a few things above and beyond. Super happy!

I would recommend them regardless of the rating. I would give them some things to watch for. Get it in writing and if things go wrong make sure they take care of it. They had crystals appear within the glass in a lot of the windows. What are the consequences for that. How do you call them out for that. The contract would have been discounted, and Exovactions would be responsible for the cost to do the repair, but that might replace the cost of the bid. I would recommend with caveats.

Exovations has performed several jobs over the years, however this job was 8 weeks total exterior renovation. This was a significant job and as expected they delivered a masterpiece. If you expect quality, Exovations is your answer.

Love the new siding and look of the house.

We had over 40k worth of work done on the house; completely new siding, painting, and repair of wood rot. First, the positive: the salesman was very knowledgeable, educated me about some of the issues on the old house, and clearly explained what was needed to do a proper job. The negative: he didn't stay with the project to supervise the work crews. Probably would have been better, as he knew his stuff. The work crews left my house trashed each night, with most of their gear left in the yard whever it happened to be when they stopped work for the night. The did not fix all the wood rot around the windows (one of the issues that started the entire proejct). Instead, they tried to 'caulk' it to fix it. Not acceptable. I had to call the Project Manager and text him pictures to instruct him to stop the work, or they would have painted over it and kept on going. Not acceptable. Very little supervision of the actual work crews. Overall, I had to supervise the entire process more closely than I should have needed to. If you hire them, stay on top of your project every step of the way. Inspect everything.

My reno went so smoothly I had to ask them if they knew how to do renovations correctly. Usually Renos are fraught with frustration and delays. Not mine. Everything was completed on time. From showing up on time the first day, the supplies coming early, and then the time line for completion got moved up. That is unheard of in my experience. When they found issues like rot, they did not stress me out or over charge me, They just quietly took care of it. What I thought would be a stressful situation, couldn’t have been easier on me. My home is gorgeous. I am so pleased with the outcome and workmanship and would recommend Exovations to everyone and will use them for any projects.

They were very knowledgeable with the Hardie Board installation specifications.

We have used several contractors since purchasing our home. Most don't communicate well, use the cheapest materials unless you specify up front, and you wind up all stressed out making sure you get what you paid for. Exovations was really the exception. They were great. The guys that replaced our windows and doors were so good, and Chris was so good, we had them come back and do our siding. Just like the windows and doors, they were in, they did the job, they cleaned up and were gone. There were a few warranty items and they took care of them as I expected them to.

Original quote was not honored, work has yet to be completed to satisfaction months after project start, the project manager refuses to fix and the warranty department told me the brand new paint having bubbles in it is a "maintenance issue", IE not covered by warranty.

I am a civil engineer and very experienced with project management, including sales quoting, the price, and managing the project, the schedule, and the quality. EXOVATIONS did an excellent job in all of these areas. They met our expectations and their value was superior to anyone else that we received quotes from. We received 3-4 other quotes. Their price was comparable, but your quality was superior to anyone else.

When I first contacted Exovations, I was expecting to get an unbelievably high quote due to the media advertising they do on the radio. Usually companies that advertise via the broadcast media pass that high expense on to the customers. That appeared to not happen here. Exovations came in at a cost just under one of the privately owned companies we got an estimate from to replace and paint the siding on our house and back building. Note that it was an estimate we got and not a quote like Exovations gave us. We all know estimates are garbage!Exovations also noted on the quote a cost for each 4'x8' sheathing board we would need if it was needed on our house. We knew right from the start that we would need sheathing on our chimney, so we already expected that expense. I was able to negotiate a more reasonable price for each sheet with Exovations, and that was what got them the job to work on our house. During the demolition portion of our project, we were quoted that we need 16 sheets of sheathing. In the end only 14 sheets were used and we were only charged for those 14 sheets.We did have a small issue with a nail being shot into one of our AC/Heating high pressure lines. But Exovations took care of that issue to our satisfaction, and even refunded the troubleshooting cost for my AC repairman to come out to verify the problem. I can only imaging the problems and the hassles we could have had with any other company.Exovations truly provided us with a hassle free project just like they advertise in their radio ads. And their warranty is also so much better that their competitors. Be prepared to work with the bank should you need to finance all or a portion of your project. Our financing went through Medallion Bank. Exovations gave me the contact name and number, and I was able to work with them without any problems. I saw many people complain in reviews when they saw a credit score hit on their profile. Those complaints are silly and pointless, as everyone that needs financing on a huge project will get a credit score hit no matter where they go! Sure our credit scores took a hit, but we recovered in just a couple of months right back up to where our scores originated.The people at Exovations have a "Do it right the first time" attitude, and their workmanship shows it.

They were very professional and responded in a timely manner when I called. The whole crew was nice and polite. If I had them to come back to correct something, they would come back and be sure I was satisfied. I feel that I received a fair price and will be using them for my next project.

Randy was my project manager. Prior to the start of the siding and gutter work on my home. When the work began, Randy made frequent inspections to check status and always made the attempt to ensure I understood next steps of the project with a time expectation that was met each time! He also provided detailed care instructions for new siding and gutters and was able to give recommendations and options for additional projects that would be of benefit. Work site was always left cleared of debris or supplies. I appreciate EXOVATIONS' professional management of the work on my home!

The person that brought the roll off ran into the house. One of the windows was damaged. One of the screens had a hole in it.
