Communicate with customers better

They came on time. They had someone clean up the yard and they did a great job. It was a really great experience. We didn't have to call them back for anything on the roofing. Our neighbors are the ones who suggested that we use them and I'm really glad that we did.

They were easy to work with and they communicated.

The only issue that I had was that after they were done, the front part of the gutter came loose. I have talked to Anthony about it and they have not come out to look at it. Where the new hangers are now, because of when they did it, they had to take the ice off the roof. I guess that ice left some debris, and they haven't come out to look at it.

Too big for their britches. When a customer contacts after not hearing from the company the response shouldnt be “we have alot of customers”. Let us go we will save the hassle!

They started this project on September 8th, and I'm still not done. They delivered the shingles and ran across my driveway and sidewalk with a forklift and destroyed it. I have had a few people say the subcontractors did it, and they will fix it. I didn't hire the subs, I hired you. They still haven't been out to fix my driveway or sidewalk. The broke a bird bath and my gutter was torn halfway down. Instead of replacing it, they bent it back. I had a row of plants, I planted years ago, and they are gone. I asked them not to tear up my plants, and they said they wouldn't, but they did. Furthermore, I have grass in my yard torn up. I had hibiscus in my yard that was destroyed. I had seven people give estimates. It felt your price was fair, it wasn't that cheap. It seemed to be a fair price for the quality. Another gentleman has Owens Corning represent you and he seemed great. The venting, I thought, was very important for my house. I explained that to the salesman. The house is 100 years old, but very well-built. There are three compartments on this, there are box gutters on the outside boxed in that, so they don't go anywhere. There are cubbyholes with plaster that surrounds the upstairs. There is another section with a fake roof under the real roof. I showed it to them and had ladders set up so they could see it. The salesman said they knew how to do it. I wanted to get my chimney taken off because the house has always had problems with it. I had antique tile on the bottom, and told him to put a box to protect the tile and hearth. He said absolutely, they would do that. I was up with them everyday they were here. I was tired and went to take a nap one day. Cathy came up and said, John, you aren't going to be happy. She said they dropped a brick and busted the tile and broke the insert of the gas fireplace. I said you have to be kidding me. I am still trying to get the venting. They have called me twice and said someone would contact me, and maybe I could find someone to fix the hearth of my chimney. I explained what I needed, and they are in disbelief. They were supposed to start on September 5th, but they came on September 8th. He said two days, but maybe three. It's two weeks later, almost three, and they are still not done. My sidewalk is torn up. I am worried about people falling. I have to find someone for my chimney. Not only that, but I am scheduled to go to Virginia Beach for my son and grandsons birthday. It wasn't the experience I thought I would have.

I’ve had a lot of issues after the project with cleanup. Other than that things were ok.

It is no surprise probably that I am submitting this review. While Elite did a good job on our roof, their communication, organization, and timeliness was lacking. They never showed up on the original agreed upon time and without notice had to reschedule for another day, which they also did not show up to. Third time was the charm I guess.

They did a fine job. They are supposed to get back to me about putting gutters on the house. They have a couple of things they need to come back to fix. There is one place in the back that needs some work. They are going to come back to fix that. They did a really good job.

BEWARE! Elite Roofing took advantage of my elderly mother & improperly installed a roof on her home on February 9, 2024, that caused extensive damage to her roof and her home. We trusted them because her plumber of 15 years referred her to Elite Roofing, big mistake. Her home is all she has. They blatantly violated WV Building Codes to cut corners, which has caused leaks and mold all over the ceiling of her sunroom, which is now ruined. James Morris & JR Morris stated that if she hires anyone else to fix the damages that they will not honor their workmanship warranty. However, they refuse to honor said warranty that apparently is worth zip. She has been begging James Morris since February 14, 2024, to come address this situation only to be shunned & gaslighted. There's at least $20,000 in damages. $8,200 that she paid for her new roof down the drain. They neglected to use the required ice and weather protection on the eaves that extend from the lower edges of the roof to the warm wall of the house, which protects the roof from ice dam damage and leaks. Also, there are nails protruding through our sunroom ceiling, eaves, and attic, which has caused leaking and microbial growth. Gaps between shingles that shows the underlayment in some areas of the roof, shingles way overlapped on other areas where wind is blowing water underneath, nails left laying all over the roof & that's just a part of the problem with her roof. She was better off with her old roof. Do yourself a favor and check BBB & the Attorney General because the reviews on Google do not accurately reflect their true character and work ethic. She has two professional roof inspections, including detailed photos and a video of all the damage caused by Elite Roofing. I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to use Elite Roofing LLC. Regret the day I ever met the James Morris and JR Morris. I don't want them to do this to anyone else.

The estimate was very professional, the price was comfortable, and the service was wonderful.

I was very pleased with the overall experience with Elite. From the very first visit, Jared took the time to look over everything and answered all of our questions we had. The other contractors that looked at our project seemed to be rushed and didn't spend much time at our residence when looking at it and seemed almost "robotic" about it. There were a few shortcomings when the project was completed that I feel need addressed, but overall, a good experience (mentioned in the below comments)
