They did a great job and left the work area as if they had not been there.

VERY disappointed in the workmanship. All they had to do was copy the existing, which was lucky since the only plans provided to the worker were rudimentary at best. And even then, he couldn't get it right. Poorly fitting cuts, and many basic design and construction mistakes that I had to catch. Some were corrected, some I will have to live with. The one time the owner showed up and I complained about the job, he was belligerent. No oversight, supervision or follow-up.

No need to look further than Custom Decks. We are very pleased with their performance and best of all the cost of building what we wanted. Thanks!!

When finally finished the end result was fine. The communication was not great throughout the project. Would not recommend if you are super picky or you have a set budget...

We had a great experience with Custom Decks. Their price was reasonable and their workmanship was great. We were also impressed by the owner's dedication to our job and their commitment to our timeline.

We're very pleased with our new deck, roof and patio. Kris was great at helping us figure out the details and incorporate our ideas to the extent possible, especially using a UV filtering translucent roofing material that they had not used before. He also came out several times as we were deciding on deck and concrete colors. The only issue was that the engineer determined we couldn't use cedar/redwood for the roof and have it still be structurally sound, so they used pressure treated pine that still looks nice. The craftsmanship is top notch, including the stucco repairs from where the old deck met the house. The stamped concrete patio where a lower deck was looks great, too. They weren't always the best at communicating, especially related to the concrete which was done be a sub-contractor, but they did always respond to questions and issues and worked with us when there were some minor changes along the way. We also liked that they dealt with sending the HOA form with the details. I would highly recommend Custom Decks of Denver if you want a new deck built.
