Communication and follow up was/is really, really poor. Particularly, but not only, after the remediation portion was complete. I was onsite during remediation and even then there were times things would come up and they wouldn’t communicate. For example, when it came time to seal the subfloor with whatever noxious chemical they were using, they didn’t tell me and didn’t seal off the area of the house I was living in so all the fumes went into my bedroom and bathroom. I unknowingly went to enter that area (where I was still living) and got hit with unbelievable fumes and had to get my dogs corralled and out of there. Eyes burning, coughing and headache ensued. They were in full safety gear with masks so I assume I was exposed to some pretty toxic stuff. When they completed the remediation, I had to follow up with when the remaining tape, staples and plastic would be removed from the ceiling and walls. I was told they thought it had been done, but someone would contact me to schedule them to come out and finish. That never happened and still hasn’t happened. When remediation was done, I had to find out what was next and when that would happen. Once the estimate information for the rebuild was gathered, I didn’t hear anything so I had to follow up to find out what was going on. Once the estimate was approved and the onsite plan was completed, I heard nothing again and finally had to contact them to find out what was going on because nothing was scheduled. Twice they mentioned having their flooring resource contact me. That never happened and still has never happened. Now we are in limbo because I have lost faith in them and am back and forth with my insurance adjuster about what the next best steps should be.
Very professional help and extremely courteous.
