Our door was delayed because the door broke in transit. I had paid the day of install payment But then it was canceled and they did not refund that money so I sat there having paid 90% for a door that I had not yet received or even if I was going to get it . I did not get a good reply from customer service or any reply at all about the money. From order to installation, it was almost 6 months which is way longer than we expected. The installation job itself turned out not as expected because the person who measured the door measured the wrong height, and our door was too small by two inches so they filled it in with white frame fillers, and it looks kind of icky. But after six months, what am I gonna do? I need a door.
Would not recommend if you are looking for a company with speedy excellent service and communication. It was a however a budget friendly option. So 2 stars

First of all the head installer named Angelo was amazing and over the top. He had another installer with him that did a careless job. Angelo had to come out two more extra days to redo the windows and clean up the unprofessional work that was done by the other installer.4 windows took 3 days. The windows were not the correct size when they arrived. Not sure how that happened when the sales guy did a rough estimate and then another guy came to do a more precise measurement.

Wrong windows were measured to begin with so original order was not correct. Then once corrected windows were wrong size on second attempt. First install crew was very unprofessional and set sliding glass door frame down on asphalt outside our home. It had black tar scratches all over it. Caulking around windows is sloppy work and no house wrap was put in place when installing new windows. We tried to communicate with champion multiple times about getting a discount for all the trouble but were given the run around multiple times.

It took almost 1yr to receive our broken windows that were damage by you! Plus 2 windows that needed to be redone!
unacceptable! We were given the runaround! They weren’t done, they were on their way, there was a glass shortage, and sometimes not even returning calls!

Champion came to repair the original window that was replaced in January that was already damaged and no seal. When they showed up, they only brought a frame and did not realize the whole window was being replaced. We are now waiting an additional three months for a new window. They also looked at the bathroom window that was installed in January and the seal is now all falling out. They will have to order that. Also, the original order for these windows was in October.

Placed the order in May 2024, they didn't get out to install them until November, and even got a couple wrong (size, window obscurity, didn't meet the Energy Star rating for my geographic area) so they had to send those back for different ones. Those replacements weren't installed until March, 2025. The windows are also very expensive compared to windows you can get a the local big box store. Finally, customer service is really non-responsive. Key word is "NON"... they don't respond to calls or emails.

Terrible customer service.

We were happy with Champions sales person who presented the product and was patient as we changed our mind about the style of some of the windows in our whole house window replacement. The installers were friendly, professional, and efficient in the installation process. One window had been incorrectly measured and it took almost 3 months to have a new window manufactured and installed, which meant that the final window was not installed until December when winter and cold weather had arrived. When a problem with one of the windows was noted, the problem was corrected within 3 weeks of calling the company. I was happy with the way this claim was handled both by the person that I spoke with when I first reported the problem and by the person who came out to check out the problem. The repairman who then came seemed to understand the problem and quickly made the repair. We will have to wait until the next wind-blown hard rain comes from that direction to see if his repairs were successful. Overall our Champion experience was a positive one. Champion windows were a very expensive replacement for our home, but we believe that quality is not cheap.

We ordered almost 30 windows in May of 2024, our order was measured incorrectly, inital install crew installed 2 windows in the incorrect location, told us it was our fault and they wouldn't fix them. We have since spoke to several people about this and no one can give us a clear timeline or statement on our they will be replaced. Another window came broken. They have been to our house 5 times to replace it with a new window and everytime the measurements have been incorrect. We were refunded a portion of our money by Dave Conger, received a refund, then told we have to pay our portion of our refunded money. We have not paid it yet as our job is still incomplete but I have called customer service and emailed Dave Conger with no response back. The windows are beautiful but everything good about champion stops there. Terrible customer service and a very stressful experience for an expensive product which we still don't have a finished project almost 1 year later.

Overall poor quality in service delivery. Many of the window and all doors which were delivered for installation turned out to be the wrong size and had to be reordered resulting in massive delays and the need to install during the winter months. The person who measured them initially only had one job and he failed. Rather poor communication throughout with feedback to our questions often not resulting in responses. Too many cooks in the kitchen and not one person as a contact who was pro-active and communicative.

No, I would not recommend Champion Windows of Salt Lake City to a friend.

My sister recommended Champion because of her excellent service. She had a small issue after a couple of years, which was immediate resolved.
I love them! I would recommend Champion because of how accommodating they were to our needs and for the installers who were great with communicating the process status, making sure to cover things to keep them from getting dusty and cleaning up afterwards, as well as giving us useful tips.

The quality of the window is amazing and manufactured very well. The insulation from the outside elements is amazing!

I already have recommended Champion to a co-worker, but I do not want to give his information to Champion without his consent.

To long to get windows! To may problems with ordering wrong size! Broken windows when they came!

It has been 15 months since original contract. There have been extreme delays and issues all along. The window quality is poor. The installation quality is poor. I'm still waiting on multiple replacement windows. I've been lied to multiple times. Customer service is poor.

12 windows and trim wrap were contracted on September 15th 2023 for $19,390 with an estimated installation timeframe of 8-10 weeks. Window wrap material was amended to Royal Brown on October 26th 2023. Owner paid 90% of contract fees in December 2023 (after materials were onsite and work was to commence). Windows were installed inadequately in December 2023 with regards to alignment, caulking, insulation, and wrap quality. Champion assessed them and agreed to completely redo the install. In May 2024, Champion employees came to redo the install and realized the window frames have a substantial amount of brown caulk on them which they could not effectively remove. Champion decided to manufacture new frames to install. Frames were received and work resumed 10/2/24. There are many issues with the frames/windows – none of the casements will close, two of the double-hung frames were incomplete, and the employees are incapable of completing the wrap. Champion still has 90% of my money, left the jobsite in poor unfinished condition, has not provided any plans to finish, refuses to refund any money (even temporarily to align with the contract) and will not take my calls. Some of the windows are yet to be replaced/finished.

7 months to have 7 windows installed is totally ridiculous will not recommend this company to anyone 😑

Hire people who can measure windows correctly.

Based off of your prices and the experience with your salesperson, I would’ve recommended Champion. But I feel like the installation crew kind of ruined the experience for me. I hope I don’t need to get any more windows for a very long time.

Champion Windows of Salt Lake did an excellent job. The windows arrived earlier than promised and were installed promptly a month earlier than expected.

Work is still in progress and corrections to walls and broken window have to be made. How could anyone in my situation recommend such a business to anyone unless if it was windows for free and not $45000

They have NO customer service

Every person I talked with at Champion responded to my questions professionally. A representative called right after the install to make sure everything was perfect. It was.

My windows have been leaking and it has taken a really long time to get them fixed.

I would never use Champion Window again, it took over 5 months to receive the windows and door with zero communication other than a standard email that I am sure was auto generated because no one would respond back with questions.

Windows are beautiful and add so much to the aesthetics of our home. Windows are also energy efficient and easy to clean. Initial sales and install went well.

Great product. Windows seem to be high quality. Sales person was able to awnser any questions we had and did a great presentation to explain the advantages of using Champion Windows.

I think the organization is at odds with its staff in so far as the organization is unable to deliver what the staff reasonably has promised. The organization seems to be hidebound to policies forms, and phone calls, and emails that seem irrelevant to the actual performance of what’s promised. The staff that I dealt with was great. The organization not so much. My hunch is the whole business could do a lot bette if it fired an awful lot of people And got rid of some of the policies. Also, the contract I signed was a vote of no confidence in the customer and the company. It presumes lying on the part of both the company and the customer and announces that neither party should hold either responsible. I think it’s paranoid driven by some previous experience and a bunch of lawyers. It is a horrible, horrible, horrible way to go. In my case, it was not necessary, but the idea that you can control someone’s first amendment rights to complain publicly about a company that doesn’t perform is bizarre and actually quite UNAmerican.

Sales was smooth, install was sub par, windows are efficient.

The quality is good but I do have problems sometimes closing the front left window.

Did not have a good experience on the sales side. Salesperson left (don’t know the circumstances) and no one bothered to let me know. This happened before installation so he was my contact person. New contact person was the sales manager in SLC and he couldn’t get me off the phone fast enough when we talked. He also left (don’t know the circumstances) and again before install and again, no notification that he was gone. The person who was responsive and proactive was Thomas Cartwright, installation manager. Thank goodness for him!! The window installer was sub-par, the siding installers were fabulous!! Shannon who I speak with for product issues has been very responsive with quick follow-up. This has been greatly appreciated. As time goes on, and if I have issues that are quickly address and fixed, I might consider recommending Champion.

The sales folks were very helpful in explaining the details and advantages of 3-layer glass. They also demonstrated the heat-blocking effect and the strength of the frames. Both these qualities are what convinced us to purchase the windows. Since being installed, we can touch the glass on the south and west windows with sun on them and they are barely luke-warm; much better than our older 2-payne windows.

So far I am happy with the product that I have in my house, there were a few hiccups throughout the project and we are still waiting for one window to get fixed.

It took five months from the day I placed my order to day of install. I bought windows for 4 rooms and three of these rooms I am waiting for replacement glass.

I felt that I had no one as an advocate to reach out to when trying to find out why the project was taking so long.

Steve installed our siding two weeks ago and did an expert job. We couldn't be happier with everything about it. The sales rep, install coordinator, and installers were all very helpful and very professional.

We feel the product quality is good, but it is difficult to enthusiastically recommend a product of this price, without fully describing the price of the product, which can be a barrier to many people.

The salesman did not write down everything on the contract. The scheduler did not return my calls. He was not in the office when he said he would be, even though we told him when we would be there.

The salesman was friendly and provided multiple comparisons to other companies. Scheduling was quick and easy, the product was quick and installation only took a day for all 10 windows.

From the time I talked with Jorge the salesperson until I got my windows installed I was kept informed of each step in process of building and shipping my windows.

During last winter we had issues with the insides of the windows at the rear of our home growing mold from the condensation so we decided to replace the windows. We did our due diligence and completed 3 estimates with reputable companies and decided on Champion Windows on February 11, 2023. We were supposed to have our windows installed in May and all would be fine.
On February 28, 2023 they sent out someone to professionally measure the windows. We were informed that we would have to enlarge our sliding glass door area to accommodate the incoming window with the built in right facing doggie door. We made arrangements to have our contractor come and enlarge the area but chose to wait till closer to the install date.
On March 28, 2023 we received an email from David Conger at Champion windows with an updates ETA of April 5, 2023! So we reached out to our contractor and he rushed the enlargement. Mind you this was the worst winter we have see in many years. Thinking that the install was coming soon we filled the space between the old window and the new with plastic grocery bags. Everything was freezing for the last two months of winter! The frost on the doggie doo would freeze shut and the door would not operate due to the cold.
Our windows were installed July 15,2023 with the sliding door containing a left facing doggie door. The installation went very well but this is not the door we ordered! We were assured all would be rectified within a couple weeks but both the installer and Tori Hoogestraat the field representative.
Tori and I have corresponded many times and she would tell me she was reaching out to upper management. On October 23, 2023 she referred me to Paul Iverson her Sales manager. When we called him he referred us to Tommy the installation manager who said he would text us an update once he parked his car.

We finally got the sliding door installed November 2nd.

I give the windows a 2 or 3 for quality and follow up and a 1 on final appearance of installation.

Takes way too long between ordering windows and actually getting them installed. Double the length of quoted time.
