My project manager, Jason Suko, was great. He was responsive, stuck to the schedule and was very caring person. I could not have asked for anyone better. His subcontractors were professional and great to work with. The entire Cedar Crest crew were a pleasure to work with under the circumstances.

I gave a 3 for materials used, not the fault of Cedar Crest. The materials used were of good quality but the original pattern had been discontinued.
Polite, friendly and courteous staff. Responded to customer in a timely manner. Poor quality work on kitchen and bathroom counters. Had to reinstall them several times. Poor quality work when sealing of the toilet and bathtub to the tile flooring and tiles to bathtub. Poor service from vendors they recommended for material selection. I visited two locations to select materials and was was either ignored or pointed to where I needed to find materials. No one-on-one help. It was a terrible experience especially since I had never used insurance before and had no experience with materials. Thank goodness, one of my good friends helped me in this process because I was not helped at all by Cedar Crest Homes staff nor by the vendors they recommended to me for service and selection.The process of drying my home after the leak was discovered took longer than expected and delayed the repair work. Thank goodness the house was empty. I also believe Allstate and Cedar Crest Homes was not forthcoming with me as to what was covered in the insurance claim. I have never filed a homeowner's claim before and didn't know what to expect. Cedar Crest Homes' project manager told me Allstate would not replace the flooring caused by the leakage, only cleaning of the area where the carpet was stained by the water and organic material. I had to wait several weeks to get the stained carpet area "professionally" cleaned. Finally, someone came to clean it and said it "looked good." I inspected it and it still was very stained by the water and organic material. I took several pictures and emailed them to the project manager, telling him I was very dissatisfied with the work and that the carpet needed replacement. The Cedar Crest project manager said he needed to speak with the designated Allstate Insurance person before anything further could be done. Finally, it was approved by Allstate to remove the carpeting in the hallway and dining room and replace it. I decided to upgrade the material (at my own expense) and selected waterproof vinyl flooring instead of carpeting installed. I asked if Cedar Crest would provide additional work that I would pay out of pocket and they verbally agreed. Later, after they completed the required insurance work, they d from doing any additional work. I would NOT recommend Cedar Crest Homes for future work nor do I trust that Allstate was honest with me about coverage and payout. After all the work was completed, Allstate Insurance was increased my insurance premium an additional $400 dollars! Also, the Allstate Claim person assigned to my claim was always a step behind and when calling me with updates. Overall, using Cedar Crest Homes and Allstate for the homeowner's claim was a horrible experience in an already stressful situation of having the home torn apart!
I am very pleased with the work they were fast and did a really good job. The boss came out to check the work and noticed the trim hadn,t been painted and he had the guys come that day. They were here for less than an hour and it looked great. I would recommend them to my friends
I had a run around with the guys that came out. I wasn't real happy with the situation that happened.

Their final workmen that completed the work his name is Vlad was very professional and courteous.
