So far we have been very pleased with them.

I’ve had several issues with getting prompt communication and clear explanations about procedures. It’s taken months for repair to happen and the work still hasn’t been started.

The construction part of Blackmon puts a bad mark on the company. They lacked supervision, and the ability to understand the urgency of moving you back into your home. There were no standards and no supervision. They did not follow the outline of what needed to be done. They had to come out several times to redo what they had already done. They did not have the proper training to complete my project. They never wore name tags or uniforms to identify them with Blackmon. It was not a good experience. I hope they provide more training to their employees and trust them to have high standards, so they may complete a job in the proper way.

If I could give less than one star I would. The people at the warehouse once we picked up our belongings were great. The service leading up to that point was TERRIBLE!!!!! It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. They lied to us and felt like the only thing they wanted from us was the insurance check. They put tons of stress on me in my family in a time that was already stressful with the fire. I am a super laid back chill person and always give people the benefit of the doubt, however, in this situation, it was the ABSOLUTE WORSE customer service experience I have ever had. I would NEVER recommend them for ANY services.

They were extremely nice, courteous, and met everything I need I have had so far in terms of scheduling. They have been very accommodating.

The water damage in my home happened on June 16th, 2018 and I am going to have to wait until after August 13th for a date in which they plan on coming to replace the carpet. The contents of my home has been setting in a pod in my front yard since July 5th. I think nine or ten weeks has been long enough to complete the job.

I just cannot recommend them because of the length of time, the supervisor, the workman.

I would not recommend them to a friend . The team we had ended up being fired.

Blackmon Mooring Company - Arlington broke almost every promise they made during my project. Every Monday for months I was contacted and apologized to and told that each issue would be resolved going forward and during the week each issue was not resolved and so the next Monday it started over with another apology. Blackmon Mooring Company - Arlington is exceptional at apologizing and making you believe that things will change for the better. I even received an apology from a person with the last name Blackmon and nothing changed afterwards.

Blackmon Mooring was very professional and careful in storing all of my items. Everything came back in good and clean condition. I was very satisfied with that.

They were thorough. They identified and removed all damaged items (carpet, furniture, drywall, etc.) and made sure everything was dry before they finished.

Several things: they put all of my clothes in bags and left them here so I had to clean them myself. Almost all of my white clothes came back with scorched places on them - I even had to throw away a couple of pieces. On some of my tops there were tiny holes throughout the material - trashed them too! I had a $1500 wool rug that they have lost. One of my china cups was broken and is not made anymore. Several of my silk plants were broken. That's all I can think of right now.

When starting this process the insurer is unaware of the the services of Alacrity or how they are or are not linked to any of the activities. The contractors seem to be able to make their own schedule. Come on days they are not scheduled. Not come on days they are scheduled. Not provide a reasonable time frame (9 to 11 am for example) of when they do show up and show up outside of any time frame provided by the project manager.

The Blackmon Mooring team was professional, friendly and timely. Was a pleasure to work with them.

Working with Crystal was great because she was professional but having to deal with the other end of the company for the rebuild, I recommend you go somewhere else. There were frustrations all along the way and they did a very poor job of what needed to be done.

As I said before, if they had done the correct work in the first place without ME having to call to get more and proper equipment to dry things out, our reconstruction could have been finished at least two weeks earlier. Some of the guys were great and some of them were really condescending, we never did get the proper partitioning plastic to make the job go more quickly.

Go with any other company that you can. Blackmon Mooring was sloppy, left filth on the walls and also did not return to remove the rags in the vents when doing the vent cleaning. I was left to wonder if they completed the job or not. As it was finished I was disappointed with the experience.

The employees of Blackmon Mooring were easy to work with, professional, and courteous. In a time of crisis in our family, they were exactly what we needed.

Blackmon Mooring Company is a total money eater without giving quality service. Their project managers are not responsive enough and do not meet the commitment of good quality work. They ended up damaging my house and I am still trying to get compensated for that.
