I think that they do very quality work. They are very efficient.
Servpro subcontracted with Big Island Construction so we did not know who they were. They were professional, after an initial delay, communicative and completed the job in the timeframe promised. PLUS, super tidy and cleaned up afterwards. HIGHLY recommend this professional team!
Our 5 week job took 12 weeks and I found myself having to direct a lot of the work on the jobsite at one point as the manager (Andy) didn't show up to the job on the biggest day (12 workers on site all needing direction). The time was the biggest pain. Then the lack of planning on the part of big island construction. Andy (the contractor) kept telling me to "give me a list" of things I wanted fixed or done because he was not willing/able to take the initiative to try to do a good job in the first place. It felt like they were trying to get away with globally just replacing the floors, doing the paint, and putting the cabinets back without trying to do it right. I had to constantly correct and critique the work. I could tell it drove them crazy but, when I did nothing things would be done poorly or not at all. What was I supposed to do?
Always willing to give a reference if needed.
