I have no problem with the roof; it looks fine from the ground. The installers were fast and efficient, and it looks like they did a really good job. The sales department, however, was horrible. I applied for a loan in case I needed one. In order to activate the loan, they said I would receive a card, and as soon as I make a payment, it should activate the card. The very next day when I looked at the email the loan company sent me, the interest rate was unbelievable. I replied to the email telling them I was not interested in the loan anymore. I had a check for the remainder of the balance to give to Best Choice Roofing. After he came for the final inspection, I went with the check to pay for the remainder of the roofing. I went to Best Choice Roofing to pay the balance and was informed that the balance was paid by the insurance company. I am not sure how they got into that loan that had yet to be activated to pay for the roof. So instead of having a balance that was paid off, I now have a $10,000 loan. I gave the lady the check and told her that I never authorized that they could use the loan for the payment. The salesperson knew that I wasn't in a position to pay for the roof. They did some shady stuff, and in the meantime I have gone back to Best Choice to retrieve the check. My sister reissued another check and sent it to the loan company, and I would not recommend them at all. I have no idea how someone who is not on the account could activate the account. Best Choice Roofing said that there was nothing they could do about it.
I would recommend them to a friend because they came and did the job, and did what they said they'd do. My roof isn't leaking.
I'm very satisfied with what they did. With all the rain we've had lately, I've been very impressed.
Communication with the company is not great. I specifically told them that I had company in and that I could not have the roof put on until they were gone. They brought the materials early and did not put them where I requested, and then said they would be there on that Saturday. My family was not leaving until Monday. I had to talk to two people to get that changed. When the crew show up, nobody spoke English. They trampled my flower beds and damaged my gate. I informed the company of this and all they wanted me to do was sign the certificate of completion, and completely ignored my complaint. I did not even get an apology. And no offer to fix my gate.
Most of the work force did not speak English. Several showed up well before anyone that spoke English and that is a little uncomfortable.
BCR and their team did a fantastic job from start to finish including clean up. This was a large job, I think 7, 000 plus square feet, and they accomplished it in less than 2 days.
