They did a great overall job with the repairs.
I had to have Belfor come back multiple times, once they fixed the plumbing the issue persisted and caused more issues. The right hand wasn't communicating with the left hand.
I would tell others to be aware, and look into them and do your research prior to using them.
Belfor is the worst contractor that I have ever dealt with in my entire life.
The only problem I had was that the workers didn't want to wear masks and gloves as precautions for Covid-19. One of the guys was a smoker and had cigarette butts in the yard. He picked them up, but I was kind of disappointed about that.
They are an outstanding company that did what they said they would do. I would recommend them to anyone.
Brandon at Belfor was a true professional all the way through the process and was quick to respond to any questions we had, usually within minutes.
I would only recommend if they can get John Randolph.
Belfor was asked to start on construction in March and again in April They started late April or early May. They would come one day a week or maybe 4 days a week. The sheet rock man came 5 days or more trying to complete the sheet rock job. He made a bigger mess each day. My utility room was splattered with sheet rock mud. I still haven't gotten it all up. They finally got someone to come out who knew a little more about sheet rock. It was a better job but still not "professional". It was one mishap after another. In September I asked them to leave so I could get on with my life. Their only job was to finish up a bathroom that was about 150 sq. ft. I would NEVER recommend this company. My insurance company All State basically forced them on me.
The Belfor employees explained each step to me and were efficient, finished at the appointed time and produced professional work. I have no complaints and would recommend them.
There were a lot of middle men involved. We had Belfor, a general contractor, subcontractors, and the people who actually did the work all involved with caused a lot problems.
Unless you were there on site to see Belfor's work on a daily basis then I would not recommend under any circumstances. This is a second home for me so I wasn't there during the weekdays but only on there periodically on the weekends so I feel they took advantage of me. It took over 5 months to complete the work and it should have only taken 1 month.
We were thoroughly pleased that we used Belfor to restore our house after the water damage in our home. They are very reliable, courteous and very hard workers. They work til they get it done to your liking. We appreciated all their hard work and getting this big job done in a reasonable time frame.
