I don't like the way Belfor and my insurance company communicated. I had three different adjusters. Belfor wasn't in the loop about things. My claim was in October of last year. I didn't get the work done until a month or two ago. They were supposed to move out my furniture. They came with so many people, there were 10–15 movers. Furthermore, they were moving things while people were working in my home. There were people waiting outside my house. I still had things I had to pack myself. I was given boxes to pack. It wasn't made clear to me that they were going to pack. My mother and I are elderly. I am 58 and my mother is almost 80. I had to pay someone to pack my home for me. Furthermore, I was later told by the insurance company they were supposed to do that. They weren't supposed to give me boxes to do it. I am happy the project is over. I am not happy with the communication. Furthermore, I had two different project managers. One of them had to go on maternity leave. It seemed like he shouldn't have started the job with me. They should have had someone to start it and conclude it in the end. They put something on my floor and the floors had to be repaired. I had to have the floors repaired. I tried to speak to a manager at Belfor. Furthermore, I asked several times and never once did I get to speak to a manager. It was like they didn't have a higher power. I was told it was a family thing. I would never use Belfor. Furthermore, I liked their workmanship, but I would never use them again.
If I could give minus zero stars for this company I would. They have no morals and will promise things they can’t deliver. I was cheated out of money when my HVAC unit was replaced due to a bathroom leak. Not only did I pay extra after my insurance paid, but they did not complete items that were submitted to my insurance company. Stay far away for this crooked company. This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. They also damaged my carpet on the stairs and have not resolved that issue!
Belfor was expedient and professional in all of our repairs, as well as communication.
They were good. They were super friendly and did what they were supposed to do.
They took a long time to do the repairs. That was the only issue.
A lot of things that were promised were not delivered.
They were a competent company.
Andy’s people were always on time, explained what they were doing, great communication, offered great suggestions and options as the project moved forward, very professional. Definitely beat my expectations on what I thought was a complicated project.
They were efficient and careful when taking my furniture in and out. There were some delays, but it was because of Covid-19. All in all, they did an excellent job.
I had a great experience with the project coordinator. She was very helpful in getting the work scheduled. The only issue I had was that the contractors did not complete the job as they should have and had to come back several times to fix their work. I had to let the project coordinator know.
