I do not and will never recommend Avi-Con/CA Construction to anyone and am actively reporting them to the CSLB for their illegal and unethical business practices specifically regarding payments demands that are outside the law and violations of our contract. They are currently trying to bill me 8 months after job completion, final payment, and contract completion because they claim they never received the final reimbursement from Alacrity (the company that helped manage additional claim payments).

They were good.

Great and fast service.

They are liars, and the worst company in the world to deal with. It took a year to complete a job that was supposed to take three weeks. Someone should put them out of business. I filed a complaint with the department of contractors licensing board.

They are very professional and efficient. They did a beautiful job on the reconstruction.

They did a good job with good work and communication. It took a while to get it done but I don't think it was their fault, I think it was due to supply conditions.

Avi - Con/CA Construction Co. was very professional and did the work in a timely manner.

This will never be published as they say. I wouldn’t give them one star but it automatically gives them one. Had very bad experience with them. Please read the reviews from others as I was not the only one that feels this way. I chose them based on a referral from my insurance company, I should have read the reviews first.

Don't pay your final bill until you go over the itemization completely to make sure you were charged correctly.

Great quality of work!

My "three week restoration" is now entering week 15 with no end in sight. It feels like for every step forward, we take two steps back. I got new carpet, but installers damaged my cement and kitchen cabinets. Bathroom drywall issue was addressed but HUGE chip in my bathtub. Disposed of my PERFECT vintage, cultured marble countertop, and are now going to replace it with some "new" granite. Disposed of my almost new toilet and are "replacing it" on insurance company's tab.

I was informed of every step of the way and keep abreast of what happens next. I would recommend them.

My work started on January 9 and was not completed until March..there was a great lack of correspondence from the original person who was my contact. Altho he was a very nice person, he seemed to have too many other things to deal with and often did not respond to emails or phone calls. Once he left the company, things began to work a lot faster. The workers were all professional and did their jobs well, once they were assigned. I was an extremely slow process and I would have been better off selecting my own materials and items to be replaced and delivered to my home, meaning it would have been much faster. No, I cannot recommend this company due to their lack of correspondence/contact altho the final person who was the coordinator was very prompt and good at his job.

I think they did a good job and did it quickly. They started it and got through so fast, they did a beautiful and I am happy with it.

I would never go with CA construction. I'm going to go hire other people to do the rest of the work that they didn't come back and do.

They had to redo their work four times due to poor material choices and shoddy work. There was one employee who was conscientious and did his best to make sure we got what we needed. However, the job took three times longer than necessary due to the constant rework of the project.

It's been 18 months since they started an insurance repair. Still not complete...

We had to discuss the job with a series of people, none of whom did the actual work. Each meeting meant a separate 1.5 hour round trip for us and delay of several calendar days for each meeting. Significant delay in starting the job. Since this was a repair of water damage, that meant tenants had to live with the demo'd walls and ceilings for some weeks. Although we were told they'd be putting their "best team" on the job, there was only one worker assigned at any time. Tenant complained that the worker smoked in the dwelling. This small job took 6 weeks to complete.

I am very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism exhibited by CA Construction.

Once they were able to start work they completed the project in a very timely manner. You can't even tell where they had to cut into the wall and ceiling to do the work.

I just had a couple minor things that they forgot to hook up.

They did superb work. They were very respectful. We couldn't have asked for better.

They did a great job. This was my first time working with them and it was on an insurance claim. I have no complaints whatsoever

Everything completed by Avi - Con/CA Construction Co. was beautiful when they were finished. Brian Clark, their representative was great. Everything I said to him he did almost the next day. If I had a complaint he had addressed the issue by the next day. He was great to work with.
