The end result is great and I'm happy with the siding and windows. The process was less great. The construction crew they hired for my job--while fast, tidy, and professional--hadn't worked with AA before, so didn't know all the steps of their specific siding process; they were just reading from the list of things to do. AA mentions their unique foam backing on the front page of their contract, in the text. It's supposed to be installed after the vapor wrap but before the siding goes on. However, since it wasn't an explicit line item on the sheet that the crew was working from, they didn't put it on. When I noticed this, it took several calls to the main store number, since I didn't have the Project Manager's number, before he called me back. And because no one had told the crew to stop installing, they kept working while I was trying to get it sorted out and ended up having to uninstall a wall of siding, go pick up the foam, and reinstall it. The same with a tempered window that got installed in the wrong hole. Many calls to the wrong people to get sorted out. In both cases, I was the one who noticed and had to act on the errors because the Project Manager was literally never there. Not even for a spot check in the afternoons. So, assuming you can keep an eye on the process and talk directly with the crew, you should end up with good new siding and nice windows. And based on other quotes I got for both the siding and the windows, they're a pretty standard price. The salesman was confident in the products, but I didn't end up feeling like they were overpriced because of it. I'd recommend them for the finished product, but do try to get the PM's number before work starts.
The seven men on the team that worked on my house had worked together as a team for so long that they did not need to ask for an extra hand when they needed three hands... Each man near the one that needed help would just reach in and give that extra hand without any talking. Or would just hand over a needed tool when needed. It was a pleasure to watch professionals working together and doing an amazing amount of work each day. They finished my very complicated siding replacement within nine working days, and took care of every minor snag promptly and courteously. Amazing Exteriors did not have the lowest quote, but they had the best quality plans for how they would do the job: Remove all siding and tar paper. Inspect and replace insulation as needed (I provided the insulation). Install OSB board on all walls. Install Hardie Wrap vapor barrier (it lets vapor out, but blocks vapor from coming in). Tape all joints and openings in the Hardie Wrap. Add 3/4" styrofoam R5 insulation. Install trim around each window and corner of the house. Add metal flashing to the bottom of each wall, and at each joint, and at the top of all horizontal trim above windows. Install 4 x 8 panels of siding, trimmed as needed to make them all perfectly horizontal at the bottom, and in line with each other, and extending one inch down from the sill plate. Caulk all seams, including underneath the siding, between the foundation and the metal flashing. As they went, they installed 3" wide flashing behind each vertical joint between the siding panels, in case the caulk ever splits or detaches from the siding. Paint the house to my specification, except they wanted to charge extra to paint ALL trim a different color, instead of just the roof edge and doorway trim and front door. They removed and replaced ALL exterior wood, trim and siding, except for the 2x6 frame around the garage door. They wrapped that with Hardie trim, and added a new door stop trim. This made the garage door opening about 1.25" narrower, but it makes no difference to me; I have a small car and a 16' door.
Not without qualifications.

I love my new windows from Amazing Siding & Windows!! They were very professional and completed the installation in a timely manner. I have recommended them to several of my neighbors.
Overall, the workmanship was very good. I think I received a quality product for the price. It took longer than expected get the windows in. I think Amazing Siding & Windows could have communicated more with us about the delay. I wish they had completed the window capping the first time. I had to call them to get the crew to come back and address the issue.
Great people. Did an outstanding job on an old house. We could not be more pleased.
Everything went as expected and planned. The staff is courteous and professional. I found a small area that needed to be painted and sealed after I wrote the final payment check and was assured they would return to fix it. Having worked with many contractors over the years, I had my doubts if I would ever hear from them again. Lo and behold, they contacted me and scheduled a time to come by and complete the work. I was very pleased.
They were timely and professional in their estimate and the measurement. For the installation they showed up when they said they would. I had no complaints and wish that I had used them for my whole job. I did a major window upgrade and split it into two phases. I used another company for the front half but I should have used Amazing Siding & Windows for both sections.

GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Amazing Exteriors - Austin as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5.
