They were a good roofing company. They did a good job, were efficient, and they were done and finished in the day they promised. It was an overall good experience.

A-1 Roofing & Siding did not try to undersell me in order to get the bid. The estimator told me I would need to replace all the plywood, and the install supervisor showed me how badly rotted it was when they ripped out the old plywood. The office staff were very knowledgeable and helpful when I called with questions. The install took one day, the work crew of 8 arrived at 7 am and were done by 5:30 pm. They thoroughly cleaned up with no loose old shingles left around. And the new roof looks great. I don't have to worry about leaks anymore! I put the buckets away!!

A-1 did an outstanding job and was extremely professional right from the start, from site visit, to quotation, to financing, to scheduling and right through installation and follow up. Very Satisfied. No Leaks Yet !!

Pros: On time, communicate before and after the work, organized work flow; efficient enough to complete the job in just one dayCons: Some of the workers appeared to be inexperienced (or lack of training); Site not kept very clean (left nails on the roof, and after a rain, those nails were flushed through the gutter and some still scattered on the roof).Neutral: Installed two skylights together with the roof (otherwise, the existing skylights won't be covered by the warranty as they noted). The installation workers seemed inexperienced (one supervising person seemed more experienced, though, but others not). Be warned - they only do the installation, and they won't take care of any inside trimming/patch work (they had made that clear upfront). I should have been aware of the troubles myself taking care of the inside trim and patch work after the skylights installation.
