I had a vision of what I wanted done to the existing deck which meant tearing the old down and starting over. The new deck is exactly what I wanted. Since my husband passed away the decisions on these things are left to me. Everyone at Swank is so helpful and explains things so I can understand. This project was being done at my lake house, about 2 hours north of Flint. Swank has a team that was willing to make the trip for the project and also for the initial prep. I was kept informed by FaceTiming.with the crew. After the issue with the wood rot my brother and I drove up to see the project. My brother has a lot of knowledge regarding building and he talked to Darrell and was very impressed by how the problem was solved. My brothers words, "you are in good hands with them." That said volumes to me.

As long as we have needs for repairs or remodeling, we will continue to use Swank Builders. We highly recommend them.

I have been giving guided tours of my remodeled home to my family, friends and neighbors. Everyone, including me, is so impressed with the transformation. I’m handing out Swank business cards to all who ooh and aah.

Our home renovation was an extensive remodel of our entire lower level which included the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and living rooms. Due to scale of the project, it was something we saved for quite some time to be able to afford. It was important to us we select a contractor that was trustworthy, had the knowledge necessary to complete larger projects and held themselves to a higher standard with attention to detail. We couldn't be happier that we chose Swank. From the beginning, before any contracts were even signed, they took the time to answer all our questions and help us understand what we could expect during the project. The project took approximately 4 months to complete. Initially, we thought we'd have to move out for a short period of time, but they found a way to keep us in our home and as comfortable as possible. As nerve-wracking as it can be to have people working in your home day in and day out, Mike, Matt, Terry, Wyatt and Seth were amazing. Each of them was considerate of our home and the fact that I work remotely. We appreciated their willingness to maintain an open line of communication and that they also took the time to understand how we wanted the space to feel once it was completed. We absolutely love the space and are thrilled with how everything turned out. The quality of the finished work you see and sometimes more importantly, the work you don't, is what will have us calling Swank for our next project and wholeheartedly recommending them to anyone else.

I would highly recommend Swank Builders Inc. to anyone that has a building project. It was a great experience working with such wonderful professionals that continued to build my confidence and trust throughout the project. They made it an enjoyable experience with their excellent communication, knowledge and honesty. They have a great work ethic and high standard for customer satisfaction and quality.

The price was high on the estimate but I didn't get additional quotes because we heard good things about workmanship and the company. Workmanship was very good but $2400 for ~3 hours of work is not reasonable. This was shared with 3 different people within Swank sales/leadership... so this shouldn't be a surprise review for anyone at Swank.

Swank Builders did a phenomenal job on my flat roof / deck surface. From the tear off of the bottom vinyl siding and aluminum trim to the reassembly of the new deck with roofing membrane, everything was completed in a very organized and clean fashion. The project manager stopped by daily to not only check in with the crew, but more importantly to check in with my satisfaction on the job to date. Very impressed with the work!
