I would strongly recommend to anyone.
They are wonderful and I have been using them for almost fifty years. They have always done great work and I would rely on them.
They did a great job!
I have already recommended them.
Very pleased with the service.
prompt service friendly workers
Excellent operation. Jason is particularly good.
Disappointed is my best use of word I could think of to describe my experience with your company. I had 4 companies bid the same job your company looked at and all others came in $2000 less than your company bid.... None of the companies saw leaks... No others told me I needed to do as your tech full of conviction told me I needed. I am upset because my folks have a 10% value package with you and I believe if I review the scope of work you have done for them I will find overcharges made to this 80 year old couple... My parents...
They did a very good job. I'd give them at least an A.
Ravinia's electricians did some work for me. I'd give them an A+.
They came in for a pipe, it was a slow drain. They cleaned it out. They've also done electrical work for me in the past, and it was good. I'd give them an A down the board. They were friendly and helpful. They got the job done. They came out pretty quick, so I really didn't have any gripes. I'd recommend them.
They were excellent, I liked how professional, friendly, and efficient they are. They did a great job. It was just a checkup. I would grade them an A+.
They were great. Nice people. Good staff on the phone. This job was electrical. They did some cabling and new lighting. I'd give them an A grade for sure.
They ordered a part for me. I think it was a valve. The part was available, cheap. I remember the total price was like a $180, which I thought was pretty extravagant for what was involved. We were unfamiliar with it, we didn’t want to bother with it, so they did the job. When I go back to them again, I’d probably look very, very closely because I don’t think they provided that great of a value. We pulled a motor out of a jacuzzi. If we had more time, we could have ordered the part and then installed it ourselves for peanuts, as opposed to the $180. I thought it was pretty outrageous for what was involved, but we were happy because we needed it, and it took quite a while for them to get the part. I don’t know what was going on there. I could have ordered it from the manufacturer and I knew we could have gotten it within four days. My experience with Ravinia was overpriced and probably would not go back to them again, unless I really was in a jam and they were the only ones that could provide whatever. I was unimpressed, unimpressed. I would say they are a C company. They just had to take a valve and insert it into the motor. It took a long time to get the part, like three weeks, two-and-a-half weeks or so.
I always have a positive experience with them. They take care of the plumbing side of things. They did an estimate, and they also found where this water spigot was coming into the house. We couldn’t find where it entered and why it wasn’t working, and they took care of that. Overall, I'd give them an A+ rating.
They're good. I like Ravinia Plumbing. They did plumbing and heating work. They're good guys. I would give them a solid A.
They were great. I have no complaints whatsoever, I would use them again. They did the furnace and they did some electrical work. And both of the guys were good. They were great.
They were wonderful when they were here. Ravinia Plumbing was very nice. They did my electrical. They were wonderful. I would certainly recommend them.
The guys they send out are all good. Had no bad experiences at all. Had them come out for a variety of things for the past five years that we've lived here. Some big, some small, they've always done well. I had no complaints at all, they do a good job. I had electrical too, and now my heating and cooling guy are Ravinia now. Every experience I had with them was very good, I would grade them an A. I would recommend them.
We had a plumbing backup that they took care of for us. He was punctual. He was clean. He was timely. Ultimately the outcome was not what we were hoping for. There was a problem that was much bigger than we expected, what we thought it would be, and we would have to tear up the floor to really go fix it, so we're just rolling the dice and waiting till the next time it gets backed up. The plumber who came and dealt with it, we were very satisfied with him. I'd give them a B+.
I would definitely use them again. I’ve had them do plumbing work for me. A while ago I had them move a drain and some water pipes for my washer. I had no complaints, and I would recommend them.
I like the fact that we had a positive experience. They did a general plumbing job. Overall, I would give them a B. We haven't had any problems with what they did. I wouldn't be likely to recommend them.
They did electrical work for me. They were very thorough, and I felt they were being very honest. I had no issues, and I’m completely satisfied with the work. I'd give them an A+.
They were very responsive. They came pretty quick. I had a water heater break. It was starting to leak. It was on New Year's weekend, so I was able to get through the weekend, but right after the holiday, they came out really quick and replaced it. I would say they deserve an A.
I have no complaints, none so ever. They came when I needed them. They are in the Best Pick Report, and I was very happy to find them and use them.
I liked their promptness. They're doing a heating job for me. I'd give them a B+. There was no slight issue. Nobody's perfect.
I like them a lot. They've changed our kitchen faucets. They've unplugged our kitchen sink. They've tuned up our furnace and our air conditioner. They fixed a leaky toilet. I'd rate them A.
It was very organized. They show up on time. They do everything that they said they would do. Very professional. They did a plumbing and electrical job for me. They deserve an A+.
I like Ravinia very much. They're timely. They are business. They come in. They do their work. I've used them now for quite so time, and I've come to rely on their service. They did a general plumbing job. I would give them an A+. They always have something that they can tell you that doesn't involve any extra money. They give suggestions. They keep you abreast of what's new. I can't complain, and I've used not only the plumbing but electrical services as well. If someone asked me, I would say, 'Call Ravinia.'
They did a good job. I would grade them an A
They're fantastic. They're great. They mostly did furnace and air conditioning. They're very professional, very thorough. They know what they're doing. They got it done the first time. I would give them an A. I'd be very likely to recommend them.
They did some domestic water repair in a home, in a three bedroom ranch. They came when they said they would. They were efficient. They got the job done quickly on the day and didn't have to come back, and I thought they were reasonable price wise. I would grade them an A. One of the things I liked: they explained what they were doing, and in one place where they were under the house, they showed what they did by having some pictures of it. I would very likely recommend them.
I'd use them again. They did work for a refrigerator. I would definitely use them again. They were quick, and they seemed to know what they were doing. They were competent and just went right to the heart of the matter. I would give them an A.
I forgot what they did for me. I've used them many times. I know them. They're close by, and they come quick. They're fine. They get the job done. I'd give them an A.
They were very responsive when I had questions, and they did a nice job. I'd give them an A+. Likely to recommend them.
I'm trying to think what they came to do. I have them all the time for different things. But anyway, overall, they're always excellent—which is why I keep calling them. I have two houses, and I call them for both houses. They're very competent when they diagnose something. I trust that they know what they're doing. And then when they fix it, it's always fixed, and I don't feel like they're cheating me. I feel like they're honest people. Basically, because they always do the job, fix what's needed. Over the years, so much. They rod my outside line; I think that's the last thing they did. They rodded the lines from the garage to the street. And they've also installed faucets. I once had a pipe break, and they took care of that. Mainly clogged sinks and that kind of stuff. I would give them an A.
We had an emergency situation, and they responded quickly. The young guy who did all the plumbing was fantastic. He was polite, knowledgeable, efficient, gave us all the options. He did a good job, all the way around. We had to have a sewer line replaced because it was crushed. I would grade them an A+.
It was easy to schedule the appointment. They gave me a variety of times so it was easy to find one that worked. They called ahead of time to let me know they were coming, they showed up on time, and they completed the work that they said they'd get done. This last time it was furnace maintenance. I'd give them an A. Nothing was broken, so it's not like they fixed something that was broken. It was just the maintenance. Their customer service was good. First, they took the call and scheduled the appointment and did a great job. The punctuality was excellent. They called ahead to let me know they were within thirty minutes of being there. They came within the timeframe that they had been booked. All of that's good. They didn't leave a mess. Everything's working, so I would say they know what they're doing.
They were very good. They came in, they did what needed to be done, and they even added on the extra challenge that we had. We thought we smelled gas in our house, and they checked it and discovered that that is the case, so we're getting that fixed. Initially, they were just getting set up for the winter—the heating, getting it in order. I'd give them an A-.
Their timeliness, their responsibility, their knowledge and skill made it a positive experience. They do our heating, our HVAC, and they did our sump pump work. They've done a lot of things for us. I'd give them an A-.
First of all, they're criminal. I mean, they're really, really bad. I mean, I've heard horror stories about them. I was actually going to file some reports on my own. I'd have to say, first of all what happened was this—I called Ravinia Plumbing. I've seen their ad on TV; they're a family-owned business, everything looks really good, and I called them to fix my sprinkler. They have the back flow check that I know you're supposed to have if you have a sprinkler system. So, I call them up, and I had not had any problems at all with my sump pump or back-ups—I had not had any problems with that ever. I've only lived at the place for two years; it's an older system, but never had any problems. They came by and about two days later, I had a major flood. So, two days later, I had a major flood, and I can't say and accuse them that that it was their doing—but it was very suspicious that the guy came, he messed around—I have no doubt that he messed with something on the sump pump. And what happened is the sump pump failed, and the backup sump pump failed, and it was right there, right there in front of his nose when he went down to the basement. OK, what happened was I called them up to basically come by, they changed the sump pump. They charged about $800 more than this other plumbing service that I use that is excellent. Not only that, but when the other place later on came by because I had some warranties under American Home Shield, they said—I told them just take a look at the back up sump pumps that—I need something done with that, and they looked at it and someone from Ravinia, the guy from Ravinia actually removed the backup sump pump. Now, I never told him to do that. I never paid them to do that. I have no idea why he would've removed that on his own. I mean, when you pay guys, they don't even do the work you have them to do. And so here on his own, he's 'Oh, it wasn't working.' I never told him to take it. He never showed me he was taking it. Why would he take it? And he probably took it and replaced someone else's pump; it's probably no good. He probably replaced somebody else's with this and said it was new. I don't know what he did. But when I mentioned it to a couple other plumbers and people who know, they said that's not right. They said he probably took it, removed it, and used it for someone else. And then when I called them up, they gave me this pretty lame story about, 'Oh no, it wasn't working right, so he just thought he'd take it.' And I've never had people go out of their way to do something like that and not charge for it. It just didn't make sense. So, I'd have to say, I just don't trust that service. I've asked around. Half the people I spoke to used them at one point or another and never use them again after that, because they said that they just didn't trust their practices. They were dishonest; they said they replaced something and they never replaced it, or they replaced it with much more inferior quality type pump than what they had paid for—they had to bring it to their attention. I was going to file a report with the state's attorney. But I heard so many horror stories after the fact. I'm still recovering from the major flood that I had in my basement, and I would put any dollar on it that, knowing the guy who came by to fix it, that he sabotaged it so that I would have a flood—and of course the natural person I would call is them because they did the sprinkler system, and that's what I did. I called them. So, I would definitely think that they would be—and everything that occurred, I would be very hesitant to recommend them to anyone. They're way overpriced. And when I called them up, they gave me this baloney answer. I called them and spoke to this head guy—and when I called them—I could tell—he stopped and didn't say anything, because I think I'm not OK with them for that sort of thing—where they come by, they fix the sump pump, and then they take the backup.
They did good work. They did plumbing on my toilets and sinks. I'd give them an A.
I thought they were honest. I thought they did good work. They seemed to be on top of their game, like, they knew what they were doing. I do remember liking them. They did plumbing. They get an A, because I think they did an excellent job. Everything about them I like, except for the price. The only thing holding me back from recommending Ravinia Plumbing & Heating Co. would be the price.
