In my review of companies to do my flooring jobs, I saw where Northside was recommended by a lot of people because they seemed to be honest, down to earth as well as deliver a "complete" job. For my initial flooring job they were exactly that and did a fine job. Since they did a good job on my first project, I thought they would do the same on my second project. This is where I became confused, I thought Northside delivered "turn key" results on their jobs as was done on my first project. (My first project was to take up and remove and take away carpet from two rooms and replace with vinyl flooring). My second project was to install carpeting over engineered hardwood in a short hallway. All went well until the installer was finished installing the carpet and I observed that the doors that opened into the hallway would no longer open due to the height of the installed carpet. I mentioned this to the installer and he said he did not do anything to insure that the doors opened properly. I asked if there was anyone coming to finish the job and trim the doors so that they would open properly, and he said "we do not do that type of work". At this point I was completely confused and disappointed since I was under the impression that this was to be a "turn key" operation. I contacted the salesperson that handled my project and he said that the company does not do that kind of work, but he knew someone that could trim the doors for a cost of $175. I told him that was not acceptable and that I would handle it myself. This is why I may or may not (depending on the type of job) recommend Northside.

Northside did some follow-up work work due to some broken LVP boards on initial install. Was out of warranty but Cindy and Daniel made it happen and very happily took care of the issue and made sure it won't happen again. Not once did anyone mentione the word "warranty". They just did the right thing and took care of the customer. I always love companies in business for the long haul.....Northside is one of those. Thank you for the great follow-up and service!! In a nutshell, I highly recommend.

Northside floors did a great job of installing wooden floors in my bedroom and staining them to match the flooring I already had in the living room. It was a positive experience and would gladly work with them again.

The response was fast. The price seemed fair. The main installer that came had an unpleasant attitude from the onset of our interaction.

This is a small, local, professional company that carries an excellent product and does fabulous installation work. The only drawback is that they're about 20 percent higher than the big box stores are, but if small businesses are going to survive, we need to support them.

I had a wonderful experience with Northside Floors. My sales rep, Yovani Alvarez, and his install teams were outstanding in every way. Yovani is professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, answered all my questions thoroughly, texted often to keep me in the loop every step of the process, promptly replied to all my texts, and went out of his way to ensure I had a smooth experience. A few of my questions required several in-person meetings onsite to resolve, which involved a lot of extra driving for him but he was always willing and eager to do it. I liked that his install team worked on only my project continuously from start to finish, rather than leaving in the middle to go do some other project and then returning to mine.
The install teams (one installed new hardwood, the other team installed new carpet) were highly skilled, meticulous, clean, and did a beautiful job.
I liked their contract and their payment terms, and they worked with me on the pricing. I would highly recommend Northside Flooring!

Northside Floors was the only company in the greater Atlanta area, that would help me with a repair. They came out and did an excellent job on both my hardwood floor repair and new ceramic tile install. The repair work was professional and looks like the original.

Though I've been extremely happy with the hardwoods put down I am disappointed that my carpet installed upstairs still shows seams.

I am disappointed with the quality of service and the lack of communication. Daniel was nice and seemed to know what he was doing. Cindy didn’t give us right information which is why the project wasn’t 100% quality.

There were neighbors standing on my driveway at 9pm on at Saturday night watching furniture being moved back into my house who were interested in getting hardwood floors. All said they could not deal with work not being completed during daytime hours. I really didn't have to make a recommendation. The company spoke for its self

after 2 years the finish is holding up nicely
